Sunday Services and Events for July:
- Michelle Jones: Mom (Joyce) Update - Last friday the surgeon attempted debridement surgery. It was not successful and resulted in an above the kneee amputation. Post surgery, pain has been reduced significantly. Mentally it's sometimes challenging to deal with the new norm, so prayers are definitely still needed. We are currently back at rehab and will be there for a few weeks. We are extremely grateful for all donations and your continued prayers. https://mealtrain.com/vdmg1g
Sheila Davis: A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Grier Funeral Service Chapel, 115 John McCarroll Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28216. In honor of Sheila, attendees are invited to wear a shade of pink if they would like. Please join us in celebrating Sheila's life and extending our love, comfort, and support to her family during this time.- Viewing: 11:00 AM

- Dining with Divas: Sisters and friends who are available during the day are welcome to join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for food, fellowship and/or a special activity or outing. The next event is Wednesday, July 8 @11:00 AM at Salsa’s Mexican Grille 2015 Ayrsley Town Blvd # 102, Charlotte, NC 28273. Please send your RSVP no later than 12 Noon on Tuesday,July 7th Paulette Sifford (910-797-2798) or Gloria Kelley (704-807-2271).
- Arboretum Prayer Time: Please join the Arboretum Family Group weekly on Wednesday mornings as we collectively pray beginning at 6:30 am. This prayer time will continue through the summer and end August 26, 2026.
- Charlottetown: The Charlotte Church will host a service at the Charlottetown community on the last Sunday of each month for residents ages 55+. One house church each month will sign up to lead scripture, singing, prayer, fellowship, and communion. The church will provide Bibles, songbooks, communion supplies, and a $50 budget for lunch or activities (additional needs must be approved in advance). - Teachers Needed: We are once again preparing for a new Children’s Ministry Teaching rotation! We’d love for you to join us August-January as we guide our children to discover the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. - TEEN WEEK 2026: *Deadline to register is July 12th!** Get ready for THE RETURN happening July 22 – 26! It’s going to be an unforgettable week hosted by The COLA Church in Columbia, SC. This event is open to all rising 9th graders through current high school seniors. Head over to the website to see the full itinerary and check out all the amazing things planned for the week! Even better news? It is 100% FREE for all Charlotte teens! The Charlotte Church Teen Ministry has got you covered.
