Sunday Services and Events for July:
- From Michelle Jones - Mama Joyce's Update: According to the surgeon, Mom's amputation wound is healing well. As long as it continues to heal, her incision staples will be removed next Thursday. She's also doing great at physical therapy. They told her they believe she has what it takes to walk again on prosthetics. We will be living at rehab for at least 2 more weeks. We continuously trust God's process and cannot say enough how appreciative we are for your prayers and donations.💕 https://mealtrain.com/vdmg1g

- Lunch Bunch: This Sunday (July 5th)
- Leader's Meeting – Sunday, July 19 | 12:00 PM: Attention all current Family Group Leaders! Please join us for our next Leader's Meeting on Sunday, July 19, at 12:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will be provided as we gather for a time of encouragement, communication, and planning. Please sign up using the SignUpGenius link so we can prepare enough food and materials for everyone attending. Your RSVP is greatly appreciated! We look forward to seeing you there!
- Wall of Remembrance – Save the Dates!: The Care &
Compassion Ministry invites the congregation to save August 15–16 for the dedication and opening of our Wall of Remembrance (Philippians 1:3, "I thank my God every time I remember you."). This special space honors the faithful men and women of The Charlotte Church whose lives, service, and love for God helped shape our congregation. We hope you'll make plans to be part of this meaningful occasion.- Saturday, August 15 – Private viewing for the families of those honored on the Wall of Remembrance.
- Sunday, August 16 – The Wall of Remembrance will be open to the congregation following worship. Join us as we remember, honor, and give thanks for the lives of these faithful brothers and sisters.
- Dining with Divas: Sisters and friends who are available during the day are welcome to join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for food, fellowship and/or a special activity or outing. The next event is Wednesday, July 8 @11:00 AM at Salsa’s Mexican Grille 2015 Ayrsley Town Blvd # 102, Charlotte, NC 28273. Please send your RSVP no later than 12 Noon on Tuesday,July 7th Paulette Sifford (910-797-2798) or Gloria Kelley (704-807-2271).
- Arboretum Prayer Time: Please join the Arboretum Family Group weekly on Wednesday mornings as we collectively pray beginning at 6:30 am. This prayer time will continue through the summer and end August 26, 2026.
- Charlottetown: The Charlotte Church will host a service at the Charlottetown community on the last Sunday of each month for residents ages 55+. One house church each month will sign up to lead scripture, singing, prayer, fellowship, and communion. The church will provide Bibles, songbooks, communion supplies, and a $50 budget for lunch or activities (additional needs must be approved in advance). Married Ministry:
- ATTACH Marriage Workshop: Registration will close July 15th, but we wanted to give you some more material before we get started. Below is a link to a short video about Danni and Alex's ATTACH journey. There is also a direct link to sign up for the class.
Children's Ministry:
- Teachers Needed: We are once again preparing for a new Children’s Ministry Teaching rotation! We’d love for you to join us August-January as we guide our children to discover the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. Teen Ministry:
- TEEN WEEK 2026: *Deadline to register is July 12th!** Get ready for THE RETURN happening July 22 – 26! It’s going to be an unforgettable week hosted by The COLA Church in Columbia, SC. This event is open to all rising 9th graders through current high school seniors. Head over to the website to see the full itinerary and check out all the amazing things planned for the week! Even better news? It is 100% FREE for all Charlotte teens! The Charlotte Church Teen Ministry has got you covered. Complete the Registration Form & select the "Registration with 100% scholarship" option. Then drop a message to Anthony or Christine to let them know you're officially signed up!
