Sunday Services and Events for July:
- July 26: House Church Sunday
- Sharlene and Jemal Horton: Please keep Sharlene and Jemal in your prayers during this difficult season. Jemal is recovering from a recent surgery and continues to face some serious health challenges. Pray for his strength, healing, and encouragement. If you would like more information, please contact Sharlene directly.
- Mama Joyce (Update - From Michelle Jones): A portion of mom's incision has opened. It's confirmed that she has good blood flow, Thank God! It is infected and she is currently on antibiotics. We're looking into other ways for the wound to heal. Possibly wound vac and/or 8 week hyperbaric oxygen chamber again. Both will encourage quicker healing. So we'll be at rehab longer. The rehab therapists loves her tenacity. Residents are enjoying her energy and she is regularly speaking encouragement into both. - Medvin and Rocio Glover: Please pray for Medvin and Rocio Glover and family ( brother of Paula Harris and uncle of Sydney Williams) as their 24 year old daughter passed away unexpectantly on July 6.
- Lauren Johnson: Don and Laura Hall would like to request prayers for their daughter Lauren Johnson. She will be undergoing neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on August 6.

- Weekly Verbal Announcements: Verbal announcements are limited at the discretion of the leadership. All verbal announcements must be submitted no later than Thursday at 12pm for consideration.
- Kingdom Brotherhood: Men and visitors are invited to join us for our **Kingdom Brotherhood Gathering** on **Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 9:00–10:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall**. Come grow deeper in your relationship with God, build meaningful brotherhood, and be encouraged to live with purpose and lead faithfully in every area of life. Invite a brother, son, coworker, neighbor, or friend to join you!
- Wall of Remembrance – Save the Dates!: The Care &
Compassion Ministry invites the congregation to save August 15–16 for the dedication and opening of our Wall of Remembrance (Philippians 1:3, "I thank my God every time I remember you."). This special space honors the faithful men and women of The Charlotte Church whose lives, service, and love for God helped shape our congregation. We hope you'll make plans to be part of this meaningful occasion.- Saturday, August 15 – Private viewing for the families of those honored on the Wall of Remembrance.
- Sunday, August 16 – The Wall of Remembrance will be open to the congregation following worship. Join us as we remember, honor, and give thanks for the lives of these faithful brothers and sisters.

- Charlottetown: The Charlotte Church will host a service at the Charlottetown community on the last Sunday of each month for residents ages 55+. One house church each month will sign up to lead scripture, singing, prayer, fellowship, and communion. The church will provide Bibles, songbooks, communion supplies, and a $50 budget for lunch or activities (additional needs must be approved in advance). - Middle School and Teen Parent Meeting: There will be a parent meeting after service on Sunday, August 2nd in the gym. This is for all middle school and teen parents. Please plan to attend as we have important information to discuss .

HOPE:
- Blood Drive: Our next Red Cross Blood Drive will take
place on Saturday, 8-1-26. This is an opportunity for us to collectively serve our community by rolling up our sleeves and giving the gift of life. We are in need of blood donors and volunteers to man the drive.- What: Blood Drive

- Help Every Child Succeed: 2026 School Tools Campaign! Gear up to make a difference! Our annual School Tools campaign kicks off on Sunday, August 2, and runs through Sunday, September 14. We are collecting essential school supplies to support local teachers and students in need throughout Charlotte-Mecklenburg and surrounding school districts. We will assist families in the church that have need and the remaining donations go directly to Classroom Central to ensure every child enters the classroom equipped and ready to learn. Collection barrels are set up and waiting for your generosity! You can drop off your items at two convenient locations on campus:
- Where to Drop Off Donations: In front of the Kid’s Kingdom Sign-In Area and The Main Church Lobby
- Our Financial Empowerment Ministry presents: “Understanding General Principles of Finances” Ready to take control of your financial future? Join us for the first session in our new empowerment series designed to help you become a stronger, wiser steward of God’s blessings. This virtual session will be held on Wednesday, August 12th at 7PM. All are welcome. Invite a friend who needs encouragement in their financial journey. Please click the link to register.
- Save the date: Well-Within Ministry will be offering their next session on Saturday 9-26-26 (10AM-1PM) This session will be for Women only. Details to follow.
Children's Ministry:
- Teachers Needed: We are once again preparing for a new Children’s Ministry Teaching rotation! We’d love for you to join us August-January as we guide our children to discover the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment.
