  • Joyce Jones: Michelle Jones would like to thank you all sooo much for your continued prayers for her mom aka Mama Joyce.  She's heading into week 4 of the Hyperbaric oxygen chamber (hbo) and so far its been a great success. Even her wound Dr is incredibly impressed. With her mild glaucoma, please pray that during the treatments, she does not see any floaters.  She still has 4 more weeks to go so please continue to keep her in prayer.🩷
  • Harris/Williams Family: Paula Harris’ mother and Sydney and Morgan Williams’ grandmother, Ida Mae Hall, passed away on Christmas.  Please send cards of encouragement to Paula at 10877 Tailwater St Davidson NC 28036-9611.

  • Lunch Bunch: This Sunday (01/04/26)

  • Knitted Together Apparel: 2026 is the year for TCC to focus on our theme, “Knitted Together.” As we celebrate, honor, and live out the unity God calls us to, we would like to provide an opportunity for you to purchase clothing items that showcase our 2026 theme.  All orders placed between January 4, 2026, and January 31, 2026, will be available for pick up after church in the foyer on Sunday, February 15, 2026.   • Kingdom Brotherhood (For All Men) SCHEDULE CHANGE (NEXT 3 MONTHS ONLY) Kingdom Brotherhood will meet on the LAST Saturday of the month - 🕘 9:00–10:30 AM

    • Location: The Charlotte Church | Fellowship Hall
    • All men are welcome. Come ready to grow, connect, and be sharpened.
  • Dining with Divas: Sisters and friends who are available during the day are welcome to join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for food, fellowship and/or a special activity or outing. The next event is Wednesday, January 14 @12:00 PM at Concord Mills Mall Food Court. We’ll enjoy lunch together and walk around the mall where you can chat, shop/window shop and enjoy each other’s company.
    • Please send your RSVP no later than 12 Noon on Tuesday, January 13 to Paulette Sifford (910-797-2798) or Gloria Kelley (704-807-2271). If you are on the DWD GroupMe, you can RSVP there.
  • New Christian Class (5-Week Series) — Begins February 1, 2026: If you’re new to following Jesus (or want a refresher on the foundations of faith), we’d love for you to join our New Christian Class starting Sunday, February 1, 2026. The class will meet each Sunday for 5 weeks, from 9:00–9:45 AM at the building. Sign up using the link provided below so we can plan materials and seating. 
  • Charlottetown: The Charlotte Church has committed to providing a church service for the Charlottetown community on the last Sunday of each month (House Church Sunday). The Charlottetown community provides housing for disabled residents aged 55 and over. We are asking one house church each month to organize this service by signing up to provide: study of the scriptures, singing, prayer, fellowship, and communion.  The church will provide: Bibles, songbooks, and communion supplies which will be stored on-site at the Charlottetown community. Each visit will have a budget of $50.00 to provide light refreshments, activities, etc. If you have a special request which will require additional funds, please notify me in advance.  On the first Sunday of the month in which your group has committed to serve, you (the Family Group Leader) will receive a packet with detailed instructions including parking directions, contact person(s), reimbursement form, etc. Any questions, please contact Paulette Sifford (psifford@thecharlottechurch.org).  SIGN UP HERE

Children's Ministry:

  • Volunteers Needed: Season’s Greetings from the Children’s Ministry! We are preparing for the February–July rotation, and we’d love for you to join us as we guide our children to discover the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment.   • Youth and Family Midweeks: The Youth and Family (teens and middle schoolers) meet the first and third Wednesday of each month in the gym at church for midweek. We will continue to meet in person even when the Congregational midweeks are online. We will put updates in the Band App if there are any changes to our schedule.

Teen Ministry:

  • FIREPIT & S'MORE PARTY!: Teens, please join us for a fun time chatting, hanging out and eating s'mores Saturday Jan 24th 6-9pm at the Nieves Home. Please see the post on Band App for more information and to signup to bring an item.

HOPE:

  • MLK Day of Service: In honor of the 2026 MLK Day of Service, join us as we transform a "day off" into a "day on" for our community. We are partnering with Nourish Up to tackle local food insecurity and ensure our neighbors have access to the nutrition they need to thrive. Sign-up and join us to participate:
