    • Sandra Morgan-Kadir: Please pray for the family of Sandra Morgan-Kadir. Her father, AC Morgan, passed away on Saturday. Cards of encouragement can be sent to Sandra at her home. The address is 6818 Park Place Dr. Charlotte, NC 28262
    • Sylvia Yanez: Please pray for Sylvia Yanez (Viviana Kesel's mom) she was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and will be having a biopsy in the next few weeks to determine treatment.  Cards of encouragement would be greatly appreciated, Sylvia hasn't been able to attend church in quite some time because of her health issues, her address is 11225 Laurel View Dr, Charlotte, NC 28273.
    • Tim Kidwell: Please pray for Tim Kidwell and his family as his father, Tim Sr. is currently going through some serious health issues.

    • Welcome to God's Kingdom: On Monday night Dec 11th at Eric and Paulette Sifford's, Laurence Sandoli decided to make Jesus Lord and was baptized into his name! He will be a part of our focus ministry! SO, Let's love up on this new born! And Brothers Let's band together to teach him to obey everything in reverence to Christ! Amen!
    • Family Lunch: Wouldn’t it be encouraging to have a time where we can eat a meal together and have some relaxing fellowship with time to get to know one another on a deeper level? On the first Sunday of every month, beginning on January 7, 2024, the fellowship hall will be available after service for everyone. Bring your own lunch and if you like, something extra to share. Do you have a favorite game you like to play? Bring it. Have a craft for kids or adults to enjoy? Make it happen. This is your time to build community, family, & fun!
    • Thank you!: Marius and Lisa James would like to thank the saints of the Charlotte Church taking care of us over the last six months while Marius was out of work. During that time, you fed us, clothed us and gave us drink. You did this for Jesus, and we thank you.
    • We will miss you: The Hansens are sad to announce that 12/17 will be their last Sunday with us. They are excited to announce that they will be moving to Maui to lead the church their full time. They ask for prayers as they move to build up the church there. They do want to say thank you for all of the people here in Charlotte who have been such supports to them and have made Charlotte home. 
    • Congratulations: Carlston and Quienna (KiKi) Mills delivered Baby Weston Ellis Mills Sunday Dec 3rd at 9:42AM. He is 6lbs, 14oz and 20 inches long! Mom, Dad and Baby are all doing well. 
    • Welcome Back! We would like to welcome back our sister, Ellen Tucker. Ellen was a cherished member of our sister church in Augusta, Ga for one year and has returned to our family here in Charlotte.

    Children's Ministry:

    • Volunteers Needed: Children's Ministry is looking for you to join us as we introduce our children to the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. Please click the link to sign up to teach for the February-July rotation! 

    Married Ministry:

    • Marriage Retreat: Athens Church of Christ presents our 2024 marriage retreat - “Rooted in Oneness" Embark on a transformative journey inspired by the wisdom of "Learning to Live as One" at our upcoming Marriage Retreat.

    • Christmas Potluck/White Elephant Party: The Middle School Ministry will be having a Christmas potluck/White elephant party in the fellowship hall on Dec. 17 from noon to 3:30!      HOPE:

    • MLK Day of Service: : Join us as we serve at Crisis Assistance Ministry Free Store on Saturday, January13th when we come together to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day through unity and service. The Free Store offers clothing, shoes, and household items free-of-charge to people in Mecklenburg County.     • HOPE Coat-Hat-Scarfs Drive: Please join us in helping to provide the gift of warmth to some of our neighbors that are in need this winter. We will be collecting the following new and gently used items: Coats, Hats, and Scarves for adults and children. These are the most needed items. The collection will run from December 3rd through December 24th. Please place them in the HOPE bins in the lobby. Thank you once again for being willing to help our neighbors in need.  
    • Holiday Gift Card Program: We will be running our holiday gift card program again this year. If you would like to donate a gift card, which will be given to an individual or family in the church, that is in need, starting November 12, you can stop by the HOPE table in lobby. All cards must be received by December 3rd. The cards can be for places like grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. If you have any questions, please stop by the HOPE table after service or contact Hazel Jones hmjones08@yahoo.com or Anne Dames annedames@prodigy.net.   
    • HOPE Disaster Plan: We want every member to protect yourself and your loved ones, please take a moment to look at this PPT Presentation that has been provided by HOPE world wide's Disaster Team. It's simple and practical. In the event of an emergency, having a plan that you've discussed with the members of your household could make a big difference in reducing unnecessary loss of life.
