  • Sandra Morgan-Kadir: Please pray for the family of Sandra Morgan-Kadir. Her father, AC Morgan, passed away on Saturday. Cards of encouragement can be sent to Sandra at her home. The address is 6818 Park Place Dr. Charlotte, NC 28262
  • Sylvia Yanez: Please pray for Sylvia Yanez (Viviana Kesel's mom) she was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and will be having a biopsy in the next few weeks to determine treatment.  Cards of encouragement would be greatly appreciated, Sylvia hasn't been able to attend church in quite some time because of her health issues, her address is 11225 Laurel View Dr, Charlotte, NC 28273.

2023 Missions Collection:

  • The Charlotte Church has set a goal of collecting $120,000 for missions in 2023. The first $60,000 collected will be used for support of the Appalachian Christian Church in Boone, North Carolina. The next $60,000 collected will be used in support of African missions. Any additional funds collected over $120,000 will be used for domestic and/or foreign missions as determined by the evangelists, elders and Board of Directors of the Charlotte Church.

  • Welcome to God's Kingdom: On Dec 11th at Eric and Paulette Sifford's, Laurence Sandoli decided to make Jesus Lord and was baptized into his name! He will be a part of our focus ministry! SO, Let's love up on this new born! And Brothers Let's band together to teach him to obey everything in reverence to Christ! Amen!
  • Family Lunch: Wouldn’t it be encouraging to have a time where we can eat a meal together and have some relaxing fellowship with time to get to know one another on a deeper level? On the first Sunday of every month, beginning on January 7, 2024, the fellowship hall will be available after service for everyone. Bring your own lunch and if you like, something extra to share. Do you have a favorite game you like to play? Bring it. Have a craft for kids or adults to enjoy? Make it happen. This is your time to build community, family, & fun!

Children's Ministry:

  • Volunteers Needed: Children's Ministry is looking for you to join us as we introduce our children to the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. Please click the link to sign up to teach for the February-July rotation! 

Married Ministry:

  • Marriage Retreat: Athens Church of Christ presents our 2024 marriage retreat - “Rooted in Oneness" Embark on a transformative journey inspired by the wisdom of "Learning to Live as One" at our upcoming Marriage Retreat.

  • Praying in the New Year: Prayer is a beautiful and a powerful privilege. As we welcome the New Year, we are asking all of The Charlotte Church to go before the throne of grace and pray during every hour of January 1, 2024, on behalf of our teens / teen ministry for an incredible, faith-building, relationship bonding and fun-filled 2024.   • MLK Day of Service: Join us as we serve at Crisis Assistance Ministry Free Store on Saturday, January13th when we come together to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day through unity and service.   • HOPE Coat-Hat-Scarfs Drive: Please join us in helping to provide the gift of warmth to some of our neighbors that are in need this winter. We will be collecting the following new and gently used items: Coats, Hats, and Scarves for adults and children. These are the most needed items. The collection will run from December 3rd through December 24th. Please place them in the HOPE bins in the lobby. Thank you once again for being willing to help our neighbors in need.  
  • HOPE Disaster Plan: We want every member to protect yourself and your loved ones, please take a moment to look at this PPT Presentation that has been provided by HOPE world wide's Disaster Team. It's simple and practical. In the event of an emergency, having a plan that you've discussed with the members of your household could make a big difference in reducing unnecessary loss of life.
