2018 Contribution Receipts
The contribution receipts/statements for 2018 donations have been generated. There are two ways to obtain your statement: (1) Register for an account on the church website at www.thecharlottechurch.org/Give and obtain your statement online under "Giving History"; or (2) request your statement by emailing churchoffice@thecharlottechurch.org. Remember: If you will be claiming a deduction on your tax return for your donations to the church, you should obtain your receipt prior to filing your taxes. (Note: If you use the online option and do not see your contributions, let us know so that we can connect your login account to your giving profile.)
PRAYER REQUESTS
Dennis Nifong's mother passed away this week in Winston-Salem. Please keep the Nifong family in your prayers as they grieve the loss of another family member. Cards may be sent to Dennis at 111 Myers St, Fort Mill, SC 29715. The funeral is Sunday, March 10 at Macedonia Moravian Church in Advance NC . The Visitation is at 2 and the funeral is at 3. HOPE ANNOUNCEMENT
Get trained in Mental Health First Aid. Atrium Healthcare and HOPE worldwide Charlotte are sponsoring a Mental Health First Aid course on Saturday March 16th: 8-5:30 @ 2200 Ashley Road.
People with mental illness often suffer alone, and stigma stops many from getting help.
Who is the course for? Charlotte Church members and the community. What will you learn? 1. A 5-step action plan to identify, understand and respond to adults experiencing mental illness. 2. SOUNDS OF THE CROSS
Needed: Actors for a performance of "Sounds of the Cross" to be presented at our Passover Service on Saturday, April 20th, at 2200 Ashley Road. It is a scripted play that will be performed on microphones backstage with scripts so rehearsals will be minimal. TEEN & MIDDLE SCHOOL WORKERS NEEDED IN YOUTH AND FAMILY' MINISTRY
The Y&F ministry is in desperate need of men and women who are willing to serve in the middle school and teen ministry. We need disciples who have a consistent walk with God, availability to be at midweeks, flexible schedules, and a desire to learn and grow. WOMEN OF WISDOM
Save the Date: The Women of Wisdom (formally the mature women's group) will be hosting an "Adult Prom" on Saturday, April 13 in the church Fellowship Hall from 7:00 pm -11:00 pm. For those who didn't attend their senior prom or enjoyed their prom so much, they want a Second chance, then you need to come and enjoy a night filled with dancing, food and fellowship. The cost for the event is $25/person. Attire is Semi-formal. Registration will end on April 7, 2019. Event is for those 40+ individuals. This is an event you don't want to miss!
