Carlisa Sanders-Our dear sister Carlisa is making progress everyday and has begun therapy at The Shepherd Center in Atlanta. She and Jes are so grateful for all the cards, prayers and visits. Jes knows there are others who want to visit but because her therapy schedule is pretty full and Atlanta is a bit of a drive, he asks that you reach out to him via email first. Diane Works - Please pray that my nephew, Matt Brownings, 26, will wake up from a coma and that God will give faith and strength to my family.
Delois Whittington (Mature Women's Bible Group) has been diagnosed with colon cancer, but at this point full treatment options are unknown. She will have surgery soon and we ask for your prayers.

MISSION TRIP
Event: Stephanie's Karaoke Night Fundraiser
Date/Time/Location: Saturday June 29th from 6-9pm in the church fellowship hall
On Saturday June 29th Stephanie Evans will be hosting a Karaoke Night fundraiser to raise money for her upcoming HOPE mission trip to South Africa. Please join her for a night filled with fun as we spend the evening belting out our favorite tunes! Donations will be accepted at the door and will go towards offsetting costs associated with this trip. Every person that gives a donation will be entered in gift card raffles that will be held throughout the evening. Hope to see you there!
SUMMER TEEN TALKS
Once a month the Y&F ministry will host "Teens Talks." Similar to bible talks, this is a time where teens will be able to talk and discuss among themselves about the struggles and challenges that they face daily. The discussion will be guided through God's word for support and encouragement. The teens will come up with topics to discuss and they will also lead the discussion with a teen leader's support. It will be once a month through the summer.

The Carolina Churches of Christ Present: Prepared - A College Prep Weekend
Join us for a special weekend devoted to helping prepare students and parents for the spiritual and academic transition to college.

YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
The Y&F ministry will have the annual Teen Beach Trip "More Than Meets the Eye" on July 9-13th in North Myrtle Beach. The cost is $325. It is open to all rising freshman-seniors. On average, 35 teens attend this event. We all share a house next to the beach and enjoy swimming, meals together, service projects, and devos.
