The Staff and Elders would like to announce that Melissa Cole has accepted the position as the new Office Manager for the church. Based on her credentials, experience, and desire to serve the Lord in this capacity, she will be an incredible asset to the church. PRAYER REQUEST
Please pray for April Friedline and her family with the passing of April's mother this past week. Her mother lived in Charlotte but the funeral and burial services will be held in Georgia. Cards of encouragement may be sent to April's home

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY PARENT MIDWEEK
The next Children's Ministry Parent Midweek will be Wednesday, June 26th, 7:00-8:00. Please join us as we learn more about loving discipline for our infant-5th grade children.
NEW MEMBER LUNCH
The church-wide New Members lunch scheduled for June 23, 2019, has been cancelled. The next new members lunch will be October 20, 2019 at noon in the fellowship hall.
SUMMER TEEN TALKS
Once a month the Y&F ministry will host "Teens Talks." Similar to bible talks, this is a time where teens will be able to talk and discuss among themselves about the struggles and challenges that they face daily. The discussion will be guided through God's word for support and encouragement. The teens will come up with topics to discuss and they will also lead the discussion with a teen leader's support. It will be once a month through the summer.

YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
"Rise" 2019 Southeast Teen Rally
The Southeast churches will have a Teen Rally in Marietta GA, hosted by The Atlanta churches on the weekend of Sept 20-22nd, 2019 . It's a two-day conference themed "Rise" Isaiah 40:30-31 . Guests from out of town will be able to stay with church families in the Atlanta area! Cost is $40 before Aug 1. After Aug 1st, cost goes up to $50. The Y&F ministry will have the annual Teen Beach Trip "More Than Meets the Eye" on July 9-13th in North Myrtle Beach. The cost is $325. It is open to all rising freshman-seniors. On average, 35 teens attend this event. We all share a house next to the beach and enjoy swimming, meals together, service projects, and devos. HOPE Announcement
Second Harvest Food Bank
We need volunteers to serve at the Second Harvest Food Bank on Saturday, June 15th from 8:30am - 12pm. This project serves two purposes: it helps Second Harvest distribute food to those in need faster and helps us to self-fund the Ashley Park Food Pantry which HOPE Charlotte supports. This activity is for adults and children ages 13 and older. We want to encourage parents to serve with their children.
Volunteers help inspect and sort food or non-food products in the Charlotte warehouse that will get boxed and distributed to their partner agencies.
