CANCELLATION OF FAMILY DEVOTIONAL ON JUNE 21
The Friday Family Devotional set for June 21 has been canceled. There will be upcoming communication for the September Devotional soon.
PRAYER REQUEST
Please pray for Craig Wood and family. His mother Beverly passed away during the night.
Please pray for Anna Yarpah as her father passed away in Liberia on Wednesday, June 5. Cards of encouragement can be sent to her home.
Please pray for Heather Leas who is in the hospital on bed rest until little Carter is delivered. Please pray for the Leas family.

NEW MEMBER LUNCH
The church-wide New Members lunch scheduled for June 23, 2019, has been cancelled. The next new members lunch will be October 20, 2019 at noon in the fellowship hall.
TRANSLATION
Our church services can be translated in Spanish. Translation is in the balcony. Ask for Bernardo or Minerva Caceres to receive a headphone.
YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
The Y&F ministry will have the annual Teen Beach Trip "More Than Meets the Eye" on July 9-13th in North Myrtle Beach. The cost is $325. It is open to all rising freshman-seniors. On average, 35 teens attend this event. We all share a house next to the beach and enjoy swimming, meals together, service projects, and devos. TEEN END OF YEAR PARTY
The teen end of year party will be held June 15 from 11 to 3 in the church gym. Celebrate summer vacation with a cookout followed by a water balloon fight. Please text RSVP to Maxine Williams at 704-697-0625 & include the number of people in your family who will attend.
HOPE Announcement - 6/9/2019
Second Harvest Food Bank
We need volunteers to serve at the Second Harvest Food Bank on Saturday, June 15th from 8:30am - 12pm. This project serves two purposes: it helps Second Harvest distribute food to those in need faster and helps us to self-fund the Ashley Park Food Pantry which HOPE Charlotte supports. This activity is for adults and children ages 13 and older. We want to encourage parents to serve with their children.
Volunteers help inspect and sort food or non-food products in the Charlotte warehouse that will get boxed and distributed to their partner agencies.
