Dear Charlotte Church of Christ,
Sunday July 21st is my last Sunday, I plan to take off July 24th.
I have been here for 16 years and was baptized in the Campus Ministry while attending UNCC, back when Dave Cable and Jennifer Anton were leading Campus! I have lived in NC and surrounding areas since 1986. My heart is starting to feel this move even though I know this is where God is leading me. I have been blessed to know so many of you here in The Charlotte Church for so long. You all have made a huge impact in my life teaching me to live more like Christ in the ways of patience, love, forgiveness, purity, evangelism and more. I am on my way to be apart of the Anchor Point Church in Tampa, Florida and will be working in Lutz, FL at a Catholic Middle School as the PE Teacher and Athletic Director. The Lead Evangelists there, Jeff and Ron, have already welcomed me to Tampa! You all will be greatly missed as I love you dearly for working with me through my spiritual journey! I just want to say Thank you to all of you for doing your best to live for Christ and be an ambassador for Him! Keep hugging people, we need it!

HOPE Announcement for Sunday 7-21-19
1. Our Next Blood Drive will be held on Saturday 8-17-19 (8AM- 1PM) in our Fellowship Hall located at 2200 Ashley Rd Charlotte, NC. We are in need of blood donors and volunteers to man the drive. Please help us get the word out. Sign Ups begin today. Look for the HOPE table at the front door of the church after service.
2. Once again this year we will be sponsoring a Schools Tools Drive to support students in need through Classroom Central. We need your help. Please drop off your schools supplies beginning Sunday,
7-21-19 through 9-1-19. Look for the collection barrels in the front lobby of the church and in front of the Fellowship Hall downstairs. Also, if you're interested in hosting a drive at your workplace please contact me for assistance. Mike Dames - 704-724-2362 or mikedames@prodigy.net
3. Our next Rescue Mission project will be on Saturday, August 3, 2019, from ( 4PM-6PM). We are looking for volunteers to serve and have a meal with the men. If you would like to serve please contact:

HOPE Faith Health Announcement
HOPE Faith Health Ministry is excited to present the first Women's Health Series to The Charlotte Church, friends and our surrounding community. The series will kick off August 4th at noon with a brief 30 minute informational session entitled "Get Your Body Back After Baby!" presented by Hannah Boothe, a physical therapist in our congregation. This class is for women only and will primarily address postpartum concerns with useful information and practical tips. From the expectant mother to mothers that are years postpartum, please join us after church service, as we discuss common physical concerns including weak abdominals, pelvic floor dysfunction, back pain, headaches, etc.

Join us for a special weekend devoted to helping prepare students and parents for the spiritual and academic transition to college.

YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
"Rise" 2019 Southeast Teen Rally
The Southeast churches will have a Teen Rally in Marietta GA, hosted by The Atlanta churches on the weekend of Sept 20-22nd, 2019 . It's a two-day conference themed "Rise" Isaiah 40:30-31 . Guests from out of town will be able to stay with church families in the Atlanta area! Cost is $40 before Aug 1. After Aug 1st, cost goes up to $50.
