- UPDATE - Sylvia Yanez: Hello again brothers and sisters, Thank you so much again for the prayers and cards for my mom Sylvia Yanez. She will be starting her radiation therapy on January 26. She will have 5 treatments for one and a half weeks. Hoping that will take care of the tumor. Please continue to pray for her recovery and that she grows closer to God during this time. - Dance Ministry: Praise Dancing is a beautiful expression of love, appreciation and gratitude for our Holy Father and Jesus. If you are one that feels inspired by praise dancing for the Lord, we would like to invite you to participate. We have several people already committed, but we would like to have a few more to participate. Ages 16 – 60 and above are welcomed. Practices will be every Saturday until Easter at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. starting January 27th, unless otherwise notified. Easter is March 31st. - 2024 Missions Contribution Goal: The Charlotte Church has set a goal of collecting $100,000 for missions in 2024. The first $60,000 collected will be used for support of the Appalachian Christian Church in Boone, North Carolina. The next $40,000 collected will be used in support of African missions. Any additional funds collected over $100,000 will be used for domestic and/or foreign missions as determined by the evangelists, elders and Board of Directors of the Charlotte Church
- SAVE THE DATE - Annual Meeting: The TCC annual meeting to discuss financial information along with updates on other aspects of the church will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. This is a meeting for members only.
- Guy Hammond: Guy Hammond will be visiting the church February 17th and 18th. Please see Guy’s schedule of events while he is here below:

- UPDATE - Mom's Connection: Hey Mama's: Welcome to a New Year! In the spirit of doing life together, we would like to invite you to come out for a mom brunch. Since the restaurant does not take reservation, please try to arrive a few minutes early so we can try to sit together. Please let us (Trang/ Rachel) know by Saturday January 20th. - Teen Talk: Let's Talk!!! Come join us for some open conversation next Friday, January 26th, at the Crossland's home from 7pm -8:30pm. Check the Teen Band App for more specifics.
- One Another (1 John 3:18): Come join us for our Valentine’s gathering at the Hirsch’s home on February 10th from 5:30pm -8pm. This will be a great time to build/strengthen our friendships. Check the Teen Band App next week for more details and to RSVP. What to expect:

- Super Bowl LVIII: The big dance for football is less than 4 weeks away. Who will be there? Maybe your team did not earn their ticket to the big dance, like mine. That’s okay. We will still enjoy watching the Super Bowl. Join us for the teen Super Bowl party on Sunday, February 11th starting at 6pm. The location is TBD. Check the Teen Band App next week for more details and to RSVP.
- Chat with Guy Hammond: Guy Hammond is visiting The Charlotte Church, February 17-18. There is a chat session with him and the Teens on Saturday, February 17th from 2:30pm-3:30pm. The location is The Charlotte Church, 2200 Ashley Road
Married Ministry:
- Marriage Retreat: Athens Church of Christ presents our 2024 marriage retreat - “Rooted in Oneness" Embark on a transformative journey inspired by the wisdom of "Learning to Live as One" at our upcoming Marriage Retreat. Deadline to sign up is February 2, 2024.
