- Kammy Philemon: Please pray for Kammy and the Philemon family as Kammy recently suffered a stroke.
- Helene Disaster Update and Needs from the CEG: Dear Brothers and Sisters. Thank you for your prayers and love towards our brothers and sisters effected by Hurricane Helene. Please take a few minutes and watch the video from Jon Sherwood (it can also be found on his Facebook page) regarding the state of Asheville and the needs. We have also been in contact with the Kidwell's regarding the needs in Boone. We are so grateful to the Sherwoods, Kidwells and the saints that are shining so brightly during a dark time. We pray for your strength - emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We are here to hold up your arms! Our first in person efforts will start this Friday by sending a boots on the ground crew that will begin to tackle the list the Kidwell's complied of needs in the church and in community of Boone. How can this happen: donations:

- The CEG is currently collecting a list of homes in the region that would be happy housing people during this difficult time. If you know of anyone who would like to or can house people, please email the information to triadchurch@gmail.com
- Tim and Charlene Franklin: Dear Family and Friends of Tim and Charlene Franklin, as you all know, Tim Franklin, our dear brother in Christ continues to recover at home from a long-term illness, which has left him bedridden. Charlene has to work, pay for his nursing care, which is not all covered by insurance and serves as his caregiver after a long day of work. The cost for his care is not all covered by insurance and his medical care is very expensive. Please help our brother and sister in Christ by donating any amount you can. Your support would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽

- Drabot Shower: Hey Family, it is time for Jonathan and Charlie Drabot's sweet boy to make his appearance (due date October 11). Let’s make sure they have what they need (diapers, wipes, or gift cards). You are invited to a Come & Go baby shower on Saturday, October 5 from 10:00AM to 12:00 PM at their home. Join us and enjoy some light refreshments and encourage the Drabots.

Marrieds Ministry:
- We Need You: Do you have a passion to encourage the married couples in our church and community? Do you like to plan fun events? Are you a young married or maybe even a seasoned married couple...well WE NEED YOU! We're looking for 2-3 couples who'd like to join together to organize events in 2025 that would strengthen and uplift the marriages of The Charlotte Church. Youth & Family Ministry:
- Committed to Serve: We will continue with our commitment to serve alongside Street Corners Ministries/MMOG for the remainder of 2024. Therefore, mark the following dates on your calendar: October 19, November 16 and December 21- the 3rd Saturday of the next 3 months. You can come to all service days or just one. Each date is an opportunity for us to give our time and energy to focus on others, focus on those in need. Additionally, you can credit the time spent towards volunteer hours. "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done." Proverbs 19:17
Teen Ministry:
- High School Retreat (sponsored by Swamp): Camp Swamp (Union Point, GA) is having a High School Retreat from October 4-6, Teens throughout our region will come together to spend quality time and build relationships. - 2nd Annual Combined Scarowinds Outing: TEENS mark your calendars!! On October 12th, prepare for an evening of exploring Carowinds' scare zones and mazes with teens from our sister churches (Charleston and Columbia).
