- Paula Williams-Harris: Paula Williams-Harris is having a medical procedure today (10/11/24) and has asked for prayers.
- Kammy Philemon: Please pray for Kammy and the Philemon family as Kammy recently suffered a stroke.

- Single Mom in Need: Hello family, as the year draws to an end and you may be planning to purchase a new car in the winter when prices are at their best, please consider donating your old car to a single mom who is doing all she can to make ends meet. One of the biggest obstacles to upward mobility is the lack of reliable transportation to get to and from work on time, to get the kids to appointments, etc. Your donation will change my friend's life more than you could know. - Tim and Charlene Franklin: Dear Family and Friends of Tim and Charlene Franklin, as you all know, Tim Franklin, our dear brother in Christ continues to recover at home from a long-term illness, which has left him bedridden. Charlene has to work, pay for his nursing care, which is not all covered by insurance and serves as his caregiver after a long day of work. The cost for his care is not all covered by insurance and his medical care is very expensive. Please help our brother and sister in Christ by donating any amount you can. Your support would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽

- Jonathan & Charlie Drabot: Charlie and Jonathan Drabot welcomed their second baby boy, Maverick Joseph, on October 6th. Mom and baby are doing well. If you would like to sign up to bring them a meal you can sign up at this link
- Save the Date: Joey Harris will speak to the congregation on October 13th and will also stick around to speak to the leaders during the October leader's meeting.
- Thursday Online Table Talk: Beginning Thursday October 17th, a Table Talk Zoom will be hosted by Mark Via titled, “Parably' Speaking - a deeper dive into Jesus’ teaching. - We need your support to come out, serve, encourage, and have a blast with the children for the Fall Festival on Saturday October 26, 2024, 2:00-5:00pm. Everyone can contribute. Go ahead and click to sign up in the area that's best for you to serve, and someone will contact you with further details. For candy donations, there is a collection bin in the lobby as you enter the main doors of the church. The bin will be there until 12 noon, Saturday October 26. Marrieds Ministry:
- We Need You: Do you have a passion to encourage the married couples in our church and community? Do you like to plan fun events? Are you a young married or maybe even a seasoned married couple...well WE NEED YOU! We're looking for 2-3 couples who'd like to join together to organize events in 2025 that would strengthen and uplift the marriages of The Charlotte Church. Youth & Family Ministry:
- Committed to Serve: We will continue with our commitment to serve alongside Street Corners Ministries/MMOG for the remainder of 2024. Therefore, mark the following dates on your calendar: October 19, November 16 and December 21- the 3rd Saturday of the next 3 months. You can come to all service days or just one. Each date is an opportunity for us to give our time and energy to focus on others, focus on those in need. Additionally, you can credit the time spent towards volunteer hours. "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done." Proverbs 19:17
Teen Ministry:
- 2nd Annual Combined SCarowinds Outing: TEENS are you ready for an evening of exploring Carowinds' scare zones and mazes with teens from our sister churches (Boone, Charleston, Triangle and Wilmington)? October 12th will be an evening of food, fun and fellowship- dinner and an evening at SCarowinds. The fun, food and fellowship continues with a sleepover the night of Oct 12 and a teen service (in the gym) on Sunday. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Robert and Davina Lausen via text or email. - Teen Girls Mini Retreat: Teen GIRLS on October 19th from 12 noon until 3pm, we will have the opportunity to retreat, grow and fellowship together at the Sifford's home. So, let's take a few hours out of the day to come together and spend quality time to grow deeper in your relationship with God and to grow deeper in your relationships with one another. This retreat is for teens in the grades 9-12 and is hosted by Paulette Sifford. Please contact Davina Lausen no later than Wednesday, October 16th, if you will attend.
