  • Congregational Midweek 03/6/2024: Tim Kidwell will be back to kick off our 2nd installment in our midweek sermon series.  This month's topic is Church Hurt and the Golden Rule.  Service will begin at 7 pm, please plan to attend and invite a friend.  We will also be streaming for anyone who is not able to attend in person.

  • Security Issues: In an emergency, it is vital to know everyone’s whereabouts. It has come to the Deacons' attention that we have some young people roaming the halls during service. To ensure the safety and well-being of all we are asking parents to know where their children are always. When in service they should sit with parents or their leaders; when dismissed for class they should immediately proceed there. After bathroom breaks, they should return to their seats. Please speak with your children so that we can all be safe.
  • Women’s Ministry Bunco/RLC (right, left center) game night: Hello ladies. We are having our first of many Bunco/RLC game nights. What is that you ask? It is a time of games, laughter, food and great fellowship. A grand opportunity to get to know each other deeply while trying to win. An opportunity to invite our friends to a fun fellowship time and have great food.
    • Day: March 22, 2024
    • Place: The Charlotte Church (Fellowship Hall) 2200 Ashley Rd
    • Time: 6:30 setup, games start at 7:00 until 9:30-10. 
    • Cost: $8 which goes towards the prizes you will win. But don’t let that hold you back. Everyone is a winner.

Teen Ministry:  

  • Teen Ministries United: March 23-24 we will host the Charleston teens for a time of games, fun and fellowship. Ensure to monitor the Teen Band App for more details in the upcoming week.
  • Teen Prom: Let’s Get Fancy!!! Teen Prom 2024 will be hosted by The Fayetteville Church in Fayetteville, NC on Saturday, April 27th. Mark your calendars and save the date as moreTeen_Prom.jpg details are forthcoming. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Robert and Davina Lausen via text or email (teenevents@thecharlottechurch.org).
  • Teen Ministry Midweeks/Devotionals: Mark your calendars for the upcoming midweeks and devotionals:
    • March 6th: Midweek (7pm at the church building/gym)
    • March 13th: Girl Talk (7pm at the church building/gym)
    • March 23rd: Teen Devo and Teen/MS Parents Devo (7pm at the church building/gym)
    • March 29th: Teen Talk (TBD)

 HOPE:

  • Red Cross Blood Drive – Save the Date: Due to the power outage the new date for the Red Cross Blood Drive is Saturday, May 25th. 
  • Charlotte Church Day of Service: Join us as we come together for a day of unity and service at Crisis Assistance Ministry Free Store on Saturday, March 16th. The Free Store offers clothing, shoes, and household items free-of-charge to people in Mecklenburg County.
    • Date: March 16th
    • Time: 8:45am – 11:00am.
