Sunday Services and Congregational Midweek for June

IMPORTANT MIDWEEK SCHEDULE CHANGE:

Beginning August 7, 2024, our midweek schedule will change to a congregational midweek on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.  More information will come soon regarding the details of these midweeks.

  • Jennifer Fuller: Please keep Jennifer Fuller and her family in your prayers. Her mother, Carol, passed away on May 14th

  • The Charlotte Church CR (Celebrating Recovery Ministry): First meeting will be July 9th at the church building.  For more information, please contact Howard Williams: 201-970-4205, or Keith Jackson: 201-618-8646
  • Uchenna and Crystal Mbanuzue: We are excited (and saddened) to announce that Uchenna and Crystal Mbanuzue have recently accepted a ministry leadership position in Little Rock, Arkansas. They will be moving at the beginning of July. While we will deeply miss them, we are also thrilled for this new chapter God has planned for them. We invite you to join us on Saturday, June 15th to celebrate, share memories, express our gratitude and offer best wishes to this wonderful family.

Campus Ministry:

  • ICMC Glory 2024: The International Campus Ministry Conference is quickly approaching. ICMC is not only a conference for college students all across America, but college disciples from all over the globe are invited to join. Glory 2024 will be hosted in Asheville, NC at the Ridgecrest Conference Center. from August 1st to 4th. The cost is $300 per student and includes registration, housing and 7 meals. (Dinner not included August 1st). This is a unique opportunity for college students of connect with God and tiger brothers and sisters globally. It is a once in a lifetime experience and since it is hosted in North Carolina it will be the cheapest campus conference that most students will experience. Parents of college students please do not miss out on supporting your students for this amazing opportunity. FOCUS Ministry: 

Teen Ministry:  

  • Youth & Family: 2024 Camp Swamp is kicking off. Camp Swamp is a week-long Christian Camp that gives children ages 9-18 a safe, spiritual space for belonging and learning through play, connection, community and wonder. Camp Swamp costs $695 per camper. Many know the impact Camp Swamp has on our youth.   • Beach Trip: : We are approximately 3 weeks from our 2024 Beach Trip Cruise. The dates for the cruise are June 30 - July 4. DONATIONS: those who can, we ask you to support our annual beach trip by making a donation that will go towards travel and/or additional activities costs. In advance, we thank you for your support and joining us in our efforts to make this a fun and a memorable event for our teens. If you have questions feel free to contact the Lausens at teenevents@thecharlottechurch.org. 
  • Teen Lead Service: Are you ready to see our teens fully engaged in our Sunday service? On July 7th you will see our teens praying, ushering, leading worship and sharing as on this day we will have a teen-led service. Adults bring a teen, teens bring a teen and let's encourage our youth and each other, as we worship together. "Don't let no one despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 CSB.
