IMPORTANT MIDWEEK SCHEDULE CHANGE:
- From August to October 2024, The Charlotte Church will be hosting a variety of Table Talks for our midweek services. What is a Table Talk?
- Table Talk: What is a Table Talk? Small groups of people gathering around a table (in-person) to share about a topic of discussion to connect and grow together. The goal is not to come to a consensus, but to grow in your own convictions on the given topic and learn from each other in a Christlike manner

- Bright Family: Please pray for Larry Davis, the father of Dellyse Bright who has been diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. Pray for tolerance of his upcoming treatment.
- Gettings Family: Please keep the family of LaToya Gettings in your prayers. Her husband, Byron Gettings, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 19. The family welcomes visitors but asks that you call first. Cards of condolences can be mailed to the family at the address at 5008 Arbordale Way Mount Holly, NC 28120-0017. Byron's celebration of life will be this Saturday (06/29/24) at 12:00pm at the church building.
- Marius James: Dear Family, as many of you know, Marius James suffered a heart attack on Wednesday, June 12. Thanks be to God, he survived. The family is asking for prayers of thanksgiving to be lifted up and for prayers for continued healing. Marius is currently self-employed. The doctor has ordered rest for the next several weeks. With all of the bills that will be coming in, the James' family could use our help. Please prayerfully consider giving here: https://gofund.me/ddac708a
- Tim and Charlene Franklin:
- Anjanette Edgar: Our sister in Christ, Anjanette Edgar, needs our help. As you may or may not know, Anjanette has been at Myers Park Nursing Center for over a year. She has asked if we could donate Grubhub Digital Gift Cards to her account. If you are able to give, then go to Grubhub.com and purchase a digital gift card and then put in Anjanette's email address. Anything you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Children's Ministry:
- 5th Graders: 5th grade will again be in Children's Ministry and all grades will move up in August.
- Teachers Needed: Children's Ministry is looking for you to join us as we introduce our children to the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. FOCUS Ministry:
Youth & Family (Middle School and Teens)
- Camp Swamp: There are just two more weeks remaining of 2024 Camp Swamp youth camp, week 5 (June 30-July 6) and week 6 (July 7-13). Camp Swamp is a week-long Christian Camp that gives children ages 9-18 a safe, spiritual space for belonging and learning through play, connection, community and wonder. Camp Swamp costs $695 per camper. Many know the impact Camp Swamp has on our youth. Teen Ministry:
- Beach Trip: We are 2 days from our 2024 Beach Trip Cruise. The dates for the cruise are June 30 - July 4. We ask for your prayers for safe travels, great bonding and relationship building, and fun. In advance, we thank you for your prayers, your support and joining us in our efforts to make this a fun and a memorable event for our teens. - Teen Led Service: NEW DATE- Are you ready to see our teens fully engaged in our Sunday service? On July 21st you will see our teens praying, ushering, leading worship and sharing as on this day we will have a teen-led service. Adults bring a teen, teens bring a teen and let's encourage our youth and each other, as we worship together. "Don't let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 CSB.
