Sunday Services and Congregational Midweek for June
- 06/23/2024: Congregational Service at the building (10 AM)

IMPORTANT MIDWEEK SCHEDULE CHANGE:
Beginning August 7, 2024, our midweek schedule will change to a congregational midweek on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. More information will come soon regarding the details of these midweeks.

- Marius James: Dear Family, as many of you know, Marius James suffered a heart attack on Wednesday, June 12. Thanks be to God, he survived. The family is asking for prayers of thanksgiving to be lifted up and for prayers for continued healing. Marius is currently self-employed. The doctor has ordered rest for the next several weeks. - James Edgar: Please pray for the family of James Edgar. His stepmother, Judith Melnikoff, passed away early Thursday morning. James will be in New Mexico this week to support his father. If anyone can visit AnJanette at Myers Park Nursing Center (300 Providence Rd, room 202) this week, that would be a big help.

- Mom's Connection: Hey there Momma's! Please join us for a free kids concert for the little ones at South Park Mall in the playground area. The concert is from 10am-10:45am but of course you can hang out and mingle after if you'd like. We look forward to connecting with you.

Children's Ministry:
- 5th Graders: 5th grade will again be in Children's Ministry and all grades will move up in August.
- Teachers Needed: Children's Ministry is looking for you to join us as we introduce our children to the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. Campus Ministry:
- ICMC Glory 2024: The International Campus Ministry Conference is quickly approaching. ICMC is not only a conference for college students all across America, but college disciples from all over the globe! Glory 2024 will be hosted in Asheville, NC at the Ridgecrest Conference Center from August 1st to 4th. The cost is $300 per student and includes registration, housing and 7 meals. (Dinner not included August 1st). This is a unique opportunity for college students of connect with God and other brothers and sisters globally. It is a once in a lifetime experience and since it is hosted in North Carolina it will be the cheapest campus conference that most students will experience. FOCUS Ministry:
Youth & Family (Middle School and Teens)
- Camp Swamp: 2024 Camp Swamp has kicked off. Camp Swamp is a week-long Christian Camp that gives children ages 9-18 a safe, spiritual space for belonging and learning through play, connection, community and wonder. Camp Swamp costs $695 per camper. Many know the impact Camp Swamp has on our youth. Teen Ministry:
- Beach Trip: We are approximately 9 days from our 2024 Beach Trip Cruise. The dates for the cruise are June 30 - July 4. Teen Cruise Participants there is an in-person meeting on Wednesday, June 26th, at the church building at 7pm. This meeting is highly recommended for ALL participants and mandatory for non-traveling parent(s) of teens going on the cruise. DONATIONS: those who can, we ask you to support our annual beach trip by making a donation that will go towards travel and/or additional activities costs. In advance, we thank you for your support and joining us in our efforts to make this a fun and a memorable event for our teens. - Teen Led Service: NEW DATE- Are you ready to see our teens fully engaged in our Sunday service? On July 21st you will see our teens praying, ushering, leading worship and sharing as on this day we will have a teen-led service. Adults bring a teen, teens bring a teen and let's encourage our youth and each other, as we worship together. "Don't let no one despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 CSB.
