Sunday Services and Congregational Midweek for June:

2025 Quarterly Leader's Meetings and Celebrations:
- Leader's meetings will be held both in person (Fellowship Hall) and online (Zoom Meeting ID: 847 3079 6218, Passcode: 842219)

- Michelle Jones: Please keep her mom, Joyce in prayer. Michelle has been staying with her mom, in the hospital, for the past couple of weeks, due to a pinky toe infection. The infection worsened due to poor circulation. She had an angioplasty procedure to improve it but eventually had her pinky toe amputated. She remained in great spirits and greatly appreciated the prayers of those who knew. Thankfully, she was discharged on Wednesday, however she still needs continuous prayers for her wound to heal so she can walk back into church soon!

- Meet & Greet: The meet & greet scheduled our visit with Kendall and Makenzie Albert June 28th and 29th is below. Please make plans to be in attendance. Feel free to let the deacons and/or staff know if you have any questions:
- The Closet Donation & Shopping Reminder: The Closet will be open for donations on the 1st Sunday of each month. Please place your items outside the Closet door, located on the 2nd floor. Kindly remember that donations are only accepted on 1st Sundays — we’re unable to receive items at other times. Come “shop” the Closet on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. If you haven’t stopped by yet, we encourage you to visit — there are LOTS of great items available!
- Food Pantry War – Final Push: We’re down to the final two collection dates: June 22nd and June 29th — and we are so encouraged by the generous contributions so far! Let’s go out with a bang and collect, collect, collect! The winning zone will be announced after the final collection on June 29th. Remember, our Food Pantry is an extension of our benevolence ministry and will serve both our members and those in need who come to our doors. This effort does not compete with HOPE’s Nourish Up program — we fully support their amazing work and will continue to partner with them. Let’s keep the momentum going and finish strong! - CEG Women's Retreat: We are looking forward to our upcoming Carolinas & East Georgia (CEG) Regional Women’s Retreat at Ridgecrest, NC on September 26-28, 2025! Please read this email if you have registered for this event or are intending to do so. So far, we have close to 300 women signed up with the capacity for 200 more. We wanted to remind everyone that the price goes up on JULY 1st from $50 to $60. Remember to register for the event AND for your room & meal plan at www.cegchurches.org/register

Youth & Family Ministry:
- CAMP SWAMP: The week-long overnight youth camp for youth ages 9yrs - 18yrs is now in session!! We are 2 weeks in and have 4 weeks remaining, if you would like for your child to attend Swamp. Camp Swamp is designed to help youth see God by providing a loving, faith-building, and intergenerationally connected camp environment where campers experience play, connection, community and wonder. Teen Ministry:
- Summertime Is Upon Us: We have teens graduating, schools ending and youth moving up to the next grade; that's a sure sign that summertime is upon us. Summertime offers lots of opportunities for fun and building relationships and doing so with spontaneity. Therefore, keep your sight on the Band app and your text messages as we plan to have movie nights, fun events like Top Golf, Frankies and/or bowling, and friendly game competitions. Additionally, we will take some time to serve our community whether at a nursing or assisted living home or doing community cleanup. It's SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMERTIME so let's have some fun and invite/welcome our friends to join in on the fun with us.

- Diabetes Awareness Discussion: Join us for an educational session on diabetes, sponsored by the Faith Health Ministry at the Charlotte Church. Come learn more about diabetes management, prevention, and the latest treatments from our special guest speakers. All are welcome to attend.
