Prayer Request
- The Babel Family: Please be praying for the Babel Family, Robby's brother passed away. He will be traveling to Suriname next week for the funeral. Cards can be sent to him at 3015 Rosewater Lane, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
- Belinda Crockett: Belinda Crockett has been diagnosed with Lymphedema, a condition where her lymphatic system has been compromised. The doctors are trying different options to lesson her pain and increase mobility since she also has cerebral palsy. Belinda cannot have visitors as she is at high risk of infections, but cards of encouragement are welcome and can be sent to: 429 Heathcliff St, Charlotte 28208
- Anjanette Edgar: Please keep Anjanette Edgar in your prayers. She had surgery on Thursday, June 8 and for medical reasons, she is confined to her home most of the time. After her recovery, Anjanette welcomes visits from the family for up to 45 minutes. Cards of encouragement can be sent to her at her home address: 6517 Yateswood Dr Apt K, Charlotte 28212.

- Ebony Washington: Dear Charlotte Church, My recovery was successful and more successful than I, my doctors and my family could ever imagine. I am so very grateful for your encouragement through prayers, cards, meals, monetary donations and just simple thoughts of thinking of me, I truly appreciate your support and love. God is forever molding, shaping and refining me as his daughter and Im so honored to have you be apart of my growth. Special thanks to Lisa Fischer, Gilesa & Vince Black, Vicki Bates, Evelyn Dowery, Erica Torres, Carlisa Sanders, Pam Anderson, Jeremi Anderson, and Jennifer Fuller. Thank you all for your guidance, wisdom, support and encouragement to have this surgery and being involved in my recovery. Words can not described how blessed and how deeply loved i truly am. Marrieds:
- Marrieds Movie Night Event: THE MARRIEDS MOVE NIGHT: JESUS REVOLUTION. We are excited for the Marrieds to once again come together for another fun and relaxing evening! Mark your calendars: Saturday, July 15th at 5:30pm, 2200 Ashley Rd, in the gym. We are hosting a Marrieds Movie Night! We will be watching the newly released movie; Jesus Revolution. Bring your lawn chairs, a blanket and your honey...sit back, relax. and enjoy the show! Don't have a sitter?...Bring your tots along! Drinks and popcorn will be provided. Movie starts at 6:30pm. - Teen Beach Trip 2023: It’s BEACH TRIP time!! Summer time is upon us and the beach is calling our teens, rising 9th graders – 12th graders. The beach trip will happen July 11-15 and the cost is $350 per teen. This is a time not only to enjoy the miles of sandy beach and water but also a time to create memories and bond/connect with each other in order to deepen friendships. If you would like to serve the teen ministry in this way please reach out to Robert or Davina Lausen before registering as a chaperone. Children's Ministry:
- Volunteers Needed: Children's Ministry is looking for you to join us as we introduce our children to the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. Please click the link to sign up to teach for the August-January rotation!
HOPE:
- HOPE Charlotte: Our HOPE outdoor event that is scheduled for April 23, 2023 will be changed to September 17, 2023. This change is due to a slowdown in the construction of the facility at Frank Liske Park. Details to come later in the summer. Thank you for your understanding and support.
