Prayer Request
- Gloria Kelly: Please pray for Gloria Kelly. She had reverse shoulder replacement surgery on Thursday, June 29 and is now at recuperating at home. Gloria does not need anything currently, as her daughter is with her. She might, however, need some assistance after her daughter leaves and we will keep you updated. - Carrielynn Utley: Please pray for Carrielynn and her family as her uncle abruptly passed away recently. Her family is working through a lot. Her Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Jim had been together for over 68 years. Please pray for the hearts of her aunt and cousins, they all live in Indiana.
- Gus Stamas: Please pray for Gus Stamas as he is having surgery this Friday. The need for it came up quickly and we ask God for success and clarity on future care. Cards of encouragement may be sent to Gus and Fran at 11743 Silverado Lane Charlotte NC 28277.
- Becky Witherspoon: Please pray for Becky Witherspoon's sister in NJ, Hazel, who is undergoing testing for Lymphoma. Please pray that the doctors are able to determine where it is and that she will recovery quickly.
- AnJanette Edgar: AnJanette Edgar is unable to leave her home easily and would love to receive visitors from our church family. - Grief Journey Workshop: Another upcoming Zoom Grief Journey session. Our sister Carol along with others have done a terrific job with these sessions based on our brother, Dr. Tim Sumerlin's book. If you could use a gentle place to process your pain - you should consider it ❤️.
Marrieds:
- Marrieds Movie Night Event: THE MARRIEDS MOVE NIGHT: JESUS REVOLUTION. We are excited for the Marrieds to once again come together for another fun and relaxing evening! Mark your calendars: Saturday, July 15th at 5:30pm, 2200 Ashley Rd, in the gym. We are hosting a Marrieds Movie Night! We will be watching the newly released movie; Jesus Revolution. Bring your lawn chairs, a blanket and your honey...sit back, relax. and enjoy the show! Don't have a sitter?...Bring your tots along! Drinks and popcorn will be provided. Movie starts at 6:30pm.
