- Lunch Bunch Celebration – Sunday, August 3rd at 12PM 🎉: Have you joined The Charlotte Church between 2023 and now — whether by moving in, getting baptized, being restored, or placing membership? If so, we want to celebrate YOU! 🥳 Join us for a special Lunch Bunch on Sunday, August 3rd at 12PM in the Fellowship Hall as we recognize and warmly welcome all those who have become part of our church family over the past two years. Come enjoy great food and even better fellowship. If this includes you, please make plans to be there — we can’t wait to connect and celebrate together! 💛
- Food Pantry: The Charlotte Church food Pantry will be officially opened on Sunday, August 3rd. The Pantry will be open every Sunday except House Church Sundays from 12:00-12:30. We have a variety of food items donated by our members. We look forward to helping you with your needs. There is no application or forms to fill out. Please feel free to drop by and visit.
- Dining with Divas: Sisters who are available during the day are welcome to join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 11:30 am-1:30 pm for food, fellowship and/or a special activity or outing. The next event is Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Captain Steve's, 5645 Hwy 49, Harrisburg, NC. 28075. - ADA Bathroom: We’re excited to share that the ADA-accessible bathroom located in the foyer is now complete and ready for use! Thank you for your patience during the construction process. This new addition ensures greater accessibility and comfort for all members and guests.
- Table Talk Midweeks (PLEASE SIGN UP): From August to October 2025, The Charlotte Church will be hosting a variety of Table Talks for our midweek services. What is a Table Talk?
- Table Talk: What is a Table Talk? Small groups of people gathering around a table (in-person) to share about a topic of discussion to connect and grow together. The goal is not to come to a consensus, but to grow in your own convictions on the given topic and learn from each other in a Christlike manner

- The Closet Donation & Shopping Reminder: The Closet will be open for donations (children's clothes sizes newborn and up) on the 1st Sunday of each month. Please place your items outside the Closet door, located on the 2nd floor. Kindly remember that donations are only accepted on 1st Sundays — we’re unable to receive items at other times. Come “shop” the Closet on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. If you haven’t stopped by yet, we encourage you to visit — there are LOTS of great items available!

- CEG Women's Retreat: We are looking forward to our upcoming Carolinas & East Georgia (CEG) Regional Women’s Retreat at Ridgecrest, NC on September 26-28, 2025! Please read this email if you have registered for this event or are intending to do so. So far, we have close to 300 women signed up with the capacity for 200 more. - Let's Glow Crazy: Teen Lock-in is happening the first weekend in August (Aug 1-3), hosted by the Columbia, SC church. Registration is open now. The deadline to register is July 25th, no exceptions. - Blood Drive: The next Red Cross Blood Drive will be in our gym on Saturday August 9th. We will need donors and volunteers to man the drive. - School Tools Drive: Our 2025 School Tools campaign has begun. We will begin collecting school supplies starting this Sunday 7-13-25 and continue through Sunday 9-7-25. All donations will be given to Classroom Central. Collection bins are in the main lobby and in front of the Kids Kingdom office.
- Diabetes Awareness: Thank you to all who attended last week’s Diabetes Awareness discussion. Here are some resources from our speakers to help you on your journey.
- Volunteer Opportunity - Nourish up: We have an opportunity on September 13th with Nourish up, formerly known as Loaves and Fishes, to help our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Nourish-up is the agency that provides food for the majority of the food pantries that serve the west corridor. They have entrusted us to man their new warehouse on Saturday, September 13th in 2 shifts (8:45am-11am; 10:45am-1pm) to sort donations, prepare food boxes and fill orders for the pantries that they serve. We are in need of 20 volunteers for each shift. Please click here to go to the HOPE Charlotte Volunteer Hub to register. Please note: You must create a HOPE account to participate in these service projects. After signing up on the Volunteer Hub for the Nourish-up service project your registration is complete. You will be asked to sign the Nourish-up volunteer waiver when you arrive. This is an excellent opportunity for you to invite a friend to serve along with you. This project is for volunteers 14 and older. You must wear close-toed shoes.
