Prayer Request
- James & Tranika Wi-Afedzi: The Wi-Afedzi family asks for your prayers. They welcomed their son James Adom Wi-Afedzi into the world earlier than expected on Monday, July 10th, 2023. Tranika is doing well at home. Baby James is also well, but in the NICU at this time as he grows and gains his strength. While prayers are greatly welcomed, they do ask for no visitors or calls at this time.
- Ed Hampton: Please be in prayer for our brother, Ed Hampton. He is in the hospital undergoing tests. Cards of encouragement can be sent to his home address: 11417 Winding Way Rd Charlotte, NC 28226-3711
- AnJanette Edgar: Hello my friends, Anyone who knows James G Edgar and AnJanette Anderson Edgar, please see below and consider signing up to visit our sister AnJanette to encourage her, bring some food, and give James some rest time. I am looking forward to my time with her because she has been such a light in my life for many years!
- Gloria Kelly: Please pray for Gloria Kelly. She had reverse shoulder replacement surgery on Thursday, June 29 and is now at recuperating at home. Gloria does not need anything currently, as her daughter is with her. She might, however, need some assistance after her daughter leaves and we will keep you updated. - Carrielynn Utley: Please pray for Carrielynn and her family as her uncle abruptly passed away recently. Her family is working through a lot. Her Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Jim had been together for over 68 years. Please pray for the hearts of her aunt and cousins, they all live in Indiana.

Marrieds:
- Marrieds Movie Night Event: THE MARRIEDS MOVE NIGHT: JESUS REVOLUTION. We are excited for the Marrieds to once again come together for another fun and relaxing evening! Mark your calendars: Saturday, July 15th at 5:30pm, 2200 Ashley Rd, in the gym. We are hosting a Marrieds Movie Night! We will be watching the newly released movie; Jesus Revolution. Bring your lawn chairs, a blanket and your honey...sit back, relax. and enjoy the show! Don't have a sitter?...Bring your tots along! Drinks and popcorn will be provided. Movie starts at 6:30pm. Children's Ministry:
- Volunteers Needed: Children's Ministry is looking for you to join us as we introduce our children to the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. Please click the link to sign up to teach for the August-January rotation!
HOPE:
- Blood Drive: Please consider giving the gift of life. Our next Blood Drive will be held on Saturday Aug 12th (8AM-1PM) 2200 Ashely Rd Charlotte (Fellowship Hall). Please take a moment to watch this video so that you’ll know the impact that your donations have for our community.
- 2023 School Tools Campaign: Many students in the Charlotte area are preparing to return to school. Here’s an opportunity to help make sure that they have the supplies they need for academic success. We will collect supplies Aug 6th – Sep 10th. All supplies will be give to Classroom Central. Look for the School Tools bins in our lobby to drop off your donations. Please watch this video. Please download the PDF for a list of the most needed items.
