Sunday Services and Congregational Midweek for January:
- 01/12/2025: Congregational Service - CANCELLED - Due to the upcoming inclement weather (snow and ice on Friday and Saturday), the Deacons have decided to cancel service this Sunday (01/12/25). We do plan to broadcast the sermon at 10AM on Sunday. Please stay tuned to the church YouTube channel. Stay warm and stay safe.

- Vincent Black: Please pray for Vincent's mother Carrie Doneghy who's been having pain since last week. She went to and was released from the emergency room three times. Please pray for her healing.
- Gilesa Black: Please pray for Gilesa's mother Dot McKenney who will be having major bypass surgery on Friday to address three blockages in her veins on her leg to increase the blood flow to her toes, or else they may have to take them.
- Stallings Family: Please pray for the Stalling Family as they had a house fire and are now displaced for at least a month due to the damage. Please considered helping out with a meal, click the following link for more details: https://takethemameal.com/ITIL7054

- 2024 Contribution Receipts: The contribution receipts/statements for 2024 donations have been generated. There are two ways to obtain your statement: (1) Register for an account on the church website at https://www.thecharlottechurch.org/Give and obtain your statement online under "Giving History"; or (2) request your statement by emailing churchoffice@thecharlottechurch.org. Remember: If you will be claiming a deduction on your tax return for your donations to the church, you should obtain your receipt prior to filing your taxes. (Note: If you use the online option and do not see your contributions let us know so that we can connect your login account to your giving profile.)
- New Zoom Class: Steve Young will be hosting an Online Zoom Midweek lesson series for the second and fourth Thursday of each month starting January 23rd. 7:30-8:30 pm. Topics include: John the Baptist, The Apostles, the Miraculous Gifts of the Spirit, History of the Charismatic Movement
- Birth Announcement: Hello, church family! Zion Phan Crenshaw was born on the evening of December 26th "How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Trang had some unforeseen complications during the birthing process of Zion, so any help would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to cook a meal for us, we are plant based (vegan) and gluten free. But if you have a hard time making something, financial gifts are also welcome. - Thank you!: I'd like to thank everyone who participated in last year’s Christmas gift card program and coat drive. As a result of your generosity, you put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces inside the church as well as in the community.
- New Changes: We have some changes that go into effect immediately regarding how we’ll sign up for all future service projects.
- We will be using our new HOPE worldwide – Charlotte Chapter Volunteer Site.
- Volunteers 18 or older please use the link or QR Code provided to create an account. For volunteers 17 and younger, a parent or guardian must complete the electronic minor waiver form by clicking the link on the Charlotte Chapter Volunteer Site page.
- During account creation, you will be asked to enter your information and complete the online volunteer waiver.

- It's Here: Our 2025 MLK Day of Service will take place on:
- Saturday, January 18th from 8:30AM – 11:30AM @ the Charlotte Church gym.
- The doors will open at 8:00AM.
- You will have the opportunity to work on hands-on service projects that will be conducted on site in the gym and fellowship hall.
- The service projects will provide relief for many of our neighbors that are in need and help the youth in the community. The projects are suitable for 3rd graders up to adults.
