- Homegoing Services for Mr. Jerry Jackson: With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Mr. Jerry Jackson, who went home to be with the Lord on January 13th. We extend our deepest love, prayers, and condolences to the Jackson family and all who are mourning his loss. Please continue to lift the Jackson family in prayer, asking God to surround them with peace, comfort, and strength during this time of loss and remembrance. - A repass will follow at the church in the Fellowship Hall for family and invited guests only.
- ⚠️ Weekend Schedule Update: Due to the possibility of inclement weather, all weekend activities have been cancelled, with the exception of the funeral for Jerry Jackson, which will proceed as planned. Please note that there will be no House Church service at the building on Sunday. The Deacons and Staff strongly encourage all members to remain at home and, if possible, meet with your House Churches virtually. Your safety is our priority. Please stay warm and safe.
- 2025 Contribution Receipts: The contribution receipts/statements for 2025 donations have been generated. There are two ways to obtain your statement: (1) Register for an account on the church website at https://www.thecharlottechurch.org/Give and obtain your statement online under "Giving History"; or (2) request your statement by emailing churchoffice@thecharlottechurch.org. Remember: If you will be claiming a deduction on your tax return for your donations to the church, you should obtain your receipt prior to filing your taxes. (Note: If you use the online option and do not see your contributions let us know so that we can connect your login account to your giving profile.)
- Mom Connection: You’re invited to join us for a casual moms’ lunch on Friday, February 7, from 12:00–2:00 PM at Urban District Market. This will be a relaxed time for moms to connect, unwind, and enjoy good food and conversation. No agenda, just a chance to spend time together and build community. If you’re able to make it, we’d love to see you there. Feel free to come as you are and stay as long as your schedule allows. Looking forward to connecting!

- Valentine's Day Brunch: Single sisters 50 and over are invited to a Valentine's Day Brunch on Saturday, February 14 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the home of Paulette Sifford (10528 Sweethaven Ln, Harrisburg, NC 28075 910-797-2798). - One Accord: Through vulnerability, authenticity, and a shared commitment to growth in our relationship with God, “One Accord” is a safe space for women who may not share the same doctrinal beliefs as their spouse. As we navigate the complexities relating to a current or former marriage (separated, divorced , widowed) we hold to biblical truth, find support, and forge lasting connections that nourish our souls and enrich our lives. “One Accord” meets once a month. - Knitted Together Apparel: 2026 is the year for TCC to focus on our theme, “Knitted Together.” As we celebrate, honor, and live out the unity God calls us to, we would like to provide an opportunity for you to purchase clothing items that showcase our 2026 theme. All orders placed between January 4, 2026, and January 31, 2026, will be available for pick up after church in the foyer on Sunday, February 15, 2026. - Young Marrieds Devotional - February 8th: We are excited to announce quarterly devotionals to strengthen and encourage the young marrieds. This is for anyone married 10 years or less and is completely voluntary. We will have devotions, share insights and you’ll have opportunities to learn from one another, while building relationships. First meeting will be Sunday, February 8th in the Fellowship Hall immediately following announcements.

- New Christian Class (5-Week Series) — Begins February 1, 2026: If you’re new to following Jesus (or want a refresher on the foundations of faith), we’d love for you to join our New Christian Class starting Sunday, February 1, 2026. The class will meet each Sunday for 5 weeks, from 9:00–9:45 AM at the building. Sign up using the link provided below so we can plan materials and seating.

Children's Ministry:
- Volunteers Needed: Season’s Greetings from the Children’s Ministry! We are preparing for the February–July rotation, and we’d love for you to join us as we guide our children to discover the wonder, beauty, and majesty of God through the scriptures in a loving and safe environment. - SWAMP Summer Camp!: During the summer, Camp Swamp provides a week-long overnight youth camp for 6 weeks, Through our 10 Camp Swamp values, we are able to provide a loving, faith-building, and intergenerationally-connected camp environment where campers experience play, connection, community, and wonder for kids ages 9-19 (must Be 9 Years Old by 8/31/26). - *CANCELLED* FIREPIT & S'MORE PARTY!: Unfortunately, the Firepit and S'mores Teen Event scheduled for this Saturday, 1/24, has been canceled due to inclement weather. We hope to reschedule and will put updates in the Band App when we have more information. Be safe this weekend!
