Church Announcements

  • Father/Daughter & Mother/Son Event: Brothers and Sisters, we will not be holding a Father/ Daughter & Mother/ Son event on March 11th. There were not enough participants to ensure the budget for this event. While we will not have this event, we encourage you to still do something special with your child on March 11th. It could be as simple as dressing up for a backyard picnic or a round of basketball H-O-R-S-E and ice-cream. The biggest gift is intentional time with one another. Those that have paid will receive a FULL refund. If you have any questions, please contact the office. Thank you for being understanding!
  • SISTERS AND FRIENDS: On Wednesday March 1st, we will be having a women’s midweek in the fellowship hall to celebrate International Women’s Day. The theme for our family of churches is “Seen and Heard” from Genesis 16:13. Join us for tea, coffee, and treats as several sisters share how they have been “Seen and Heard”. We will also use this opportunity to write cards of encouragement to other sisters in our church.
  • Faith Hope & Love Apparel: Pick up of your Faith Hope & Love apparel will be this Sunday (02/19/2023) after church downstairs outside the Fellowship Hall entrance.
  • Missions Contribution: The Charlotte Church has set a goal of collecting $120,000 for missions in 2023. The first $60,000 collected will be used for support of the Appalachian Christian Church in Boone, North Carolina. The next $60,000 collected will be used in support of African missions. Any additional funds collected over $120,000 will be used for domestic and/or foreign missions as determined by the evangelists, elders and Board of Directors of the Charlotte Church.

    • HOPE ww Community Suppers: In honor of Dr. King, in 2023 each month, we are asking all of our members and friends to consider hosting a meal in your home where you intentionally invite people who are different from you to break bread with you.
