UPDATE - Sylvia Yanez: Hello brothers and sisters, Thank you so much again for the prayers and cards for my mom Sylvia Yanez. She has been very encouraged by your encouraging words. She started her radiation treatment and her team of doctors decided to do 15 treatments instead of 5. So far she is doing well and not having a lot of side effects, praise God and the doctors continue to be hopeful that this will take care of the tumor. Please continue to pray for her recovery and that she grows closer to God during this time. Women's Ministry Bunco/RLC (right, left center) game night: Hello ladies. We are having our first of many Bunco/RLC game nights. What is that you ask? It is a time of games, laughter, food and great fellowship. A grand opportunity to get to know each other deeply while trying to win. An opportunity to invite our friends to a fun fellowship time and have great food.

Dance Ministry: Praise Dancing is a beautiful expression of love, appreciation and gratitude for our Holy Father and Jesus. If you are one that feels inspired by praise dancing for the Lord, we would like to invite you to participate. We have several people already committed, but we would like to have a few more to participate. Ages 16 - 60 and above are welcomed. Practices will be every Saturday until Easter at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. starting January 27th, unless otherwise notified. Easter is March 31st. 2024 Missions Contribution Goal: The Charlotte Church has set a goal of collecting $100,000 for missions in 2024. The first $60,000 collected will be used for support of the Appalachian Christian Church in Boone, North Carolina. The next $40,000 collected will be used in support of African missions. Any additional funds collected over $100,000 will be used for domestic and/or foreign missions as determined by the evangelists, elders and Board of Directors of the Charlotte Church

SAVE THE DATE - Annual Meeting: The TCC annual meeting to discuss financial information along with updates on other aspects of the church will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. This is a meeting for members only.

Children's Ministry:

• Attention 5th Grade parents: starting this Sunday, Feb 4th, 5th grade will no longer meet with children's ministry, but will join the middle school class in the gym. They will attend regular service and leave out after communion during the song before the message.

Teen Ministry:

One Another (1 John 3:18): Come join us for our Valentine's gathering at the Hirsch's home on February 10th from 5:30pm -8pm. This will be a great time to build/strengthen our friendships. Check the Teen Band App next week for more details and to RSVP. What to expect:

 Super Bowl LVIII: The big dance for football is less than 4 weeks away. Who will be there? Maybe your team did not earn their ticket to the big dance, like mine. That's okay. We will still enjoy watching the Super Bowl. Join us for the teen Super Bowl party on Sunday, February 11th starting at 6pm. The location is TBD.
