  • Joyce Jones: Update - The additional angioplasty and new daily bandage treatment has definitely resulted in great improvement💕. However, her Wound Dr strongly suggest she utilizes the hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) chamber to speed up the healing as it's already been 6 months since her toe amputation. The HBO will require her to be in the chamber 2 hours/day, 5 days a week, for 8 weeks. This will start on Tuesday, December 9th. We are fully trusting the process and are grateful for all your continuous prayers.
  • Tim Green: Martha Johnson (Tim's mother) passed away on Wednesday November 26th in Savannah Georgia.

  • Charlottetown: The Charlotte Church has committed to providing a church service for the Charlottetown community on the last Sunday of each month (House Church Sunday). The Charlottetown community provides housing for disabled residents aged 55 and over. We are asking one house church each month to organize this service by signing up to provide: study of the scriptures, singing, prayer, fellowship, and communion.  The church will provide: Bibles, songbooks, and communion supplies which will be stored on-site at the Charlottetown community. Each visit will have a budget of $50.00 to provide light refreshments, activities, etc. If you have a special request which will require additional funds, please notify me in advance.  On the first Sunday of the month in which your group has committed to serve, you (the Family Group Leader) will receive a packet with detailed instructions including parking directions, contact person(s), reimbursement form, etc. Any questions, please contact Paulette Sifford (psifford@thecharlottechurch.org)
  • The Closet: We’re excited to share that the pause on donations for our Clothing Closet has officially ended! Beginning Sunday November 2nd and continuing on the first Sunday of each month, we will once again be accepting clean, gently used clothing for women of all sizes and children (boys and girls). As we prepare for the cooler months, we are especially in need of Fall and Winter items such as coats, long-sleeve shirts, pants, and jeans. Please note: Due to hygiene standards, we are unable to accept undergarments. Thank you in advance for your generosity and continued support in serving one another. As you donate, please remember to give items in the same loving condition you would be happy to receive yourself. Your service and support truly make a difference! ❤️ As an FYI we have switched out our summer and spring pieces to make room for the fall and winter items. Shopping for the items in the Closet will occur on the 2nd Sunday of the month immediately following service.
