LEADERS' MEETINGS 2024:
- Leader's meetings will be held both in person (Fellowship Hall) and online (Zoom Meeting ID: 847 3079 6218, Passcode: 842219)
- September 15th - 12:00 pm-1:30 pm
- October 13th - 12:00 pm-1:30 pm
- November 17th - 12:00 pm-1:30 pm
- December 15th End of the Year Celebration after church
- Martin Peele: Please pray for Martin as the doctor's recently found a large blockage in one of his arteries and he will be having heart surgery very soon. Prayers that the surgery will be successful, and the recovery will be smooth.
- The Bright Family: Please keep Dellyse and Jamal Bright in your prayers. Dellyse’s dad, Larry Davis’s cancer has spread and they’re recommending hospice care. Please pray for strength and guidance during this time.
- Jerry Jackson: Jerry Jackson will be starting a new round of treatments for his cancer. He finished 7 months of chemotherapy in May, but his PSA levels started going back up during the summer. He has lost a lot of energy and weight. Jerry will receive a blood transfusion August 14 to increase his hemoglobin and will start radiation therapy on August 16. The family is asking for your prayers that this round of treatment will serve him well.
- Gilesa Black’s Mom (Update): This is an update on Gilesa Black’s mom (Dot McKenney). Her heart stint surgery was successful. This is a miracle because only one doctor thought he could do it successfully, after all the other doctors she went to would not do it. Please also pray for Gilesa Black, she is having cataract surgery this week.
- Baptism 8/25 Marquis and Kisha Purcell: THIS Sunday, August 25th Marquis and Kisha Purcell will be baptized after HC Sunday outside the Fellowship Hall. We would love to have as many come and welcome this amazing young couple into the Kingdom of God…but due to the number of family groups meeting in the Fellowship Hall for service we ask that if wanting to attend the baptism, to not arrive until 11:45am.
- Tim and Charlene Franklin: Dear Family and Friends of Tim and Charlene Franklin, As you all know, Tim Franklin, our dear brother in Christ continues to recover at home from a long term illness, which has left him bedridden. Charlene has to work, pay for his nursing care, which is not all covered by insurance and serves as his caregiver after a long day of work. The cost for his care is not all covered by insurance and his medical care is very expensive. Please help our brother and sister in Christ by donating any amount you can. Your support would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
