Prayer Request
- Martil Cosper: Please pray for Art and Martil Cosper as they mourn the loss of Martil's father, Leonza Foster, Sr. He passed away in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, April 10. Cards can be sent to the Cospers at 7208 Marlbrook Dr, Charlotte, NC 28212.
- Our Charlotte New Yorkers: We all know New York City has been devastated by COVID-19 and we want to ask you to pray for your many Charlotte brothers and sisters who are grieving the loss of family and friends in NY. There are many, so if you know someone in our church from NY or NJ, be sure to check in on them this week. Here is a bit of love the North Carolina Churches sent to our sister church in NYC!
- Crystal Marrow: Please be in prayer for Crystal Marrow and her family as they mourn the loss of Crystal's mother, Norma Young, who was also our dear sister in Christ. Norma went home to be with Christ on 4/5/20 at the age of 76. Please pray for God's comfort at this time and for safe travels as the family celebrates Norma's life in NJ where Norma will be laid to rest.
- Mijai Wallace: Please continue to keep our sister, Mijai Wallace, in your thoughts and prayers. She recently tested positive for COVID-19 and is was hospitalized for pneumonia. Mijai was recently released from the hospital and is now home recovering and doing much better.

During this time, we realize the needs of members may surpass their family group's ability to meet them and we need to pull together as a larger family. Many of you have asked how you may serve members in the church who are in need. In order to match those of you who can help with the growing number of needs during this time, the Care & Compassion Ministry has created a Have a Need, Meet a Need Process.
If you HAVE A NEED, fill out the linked form, providing as much detail as possible.
If you want to MEET A NEED, check out this site - we will be updating this list of needs in the congregation daily, providing enough detail so you know what's being asked. Each need will have a button you hit to sign up to meet the need. Contact details will then be texted to you from 980-505-7836 within 24 hours. - We Will Miss You!: Saying Goodbye is even harder when you can't hug.... The Charlotte Church has had the honor of being home to The Solis Family since 2015. Shawn, Jheni and Jade have individually and as a family served and loved our congregation with joy! It is now time to send them virtual hugs as they move back to Dallas, TX in a couple weeks. Solis family, we will miss you and will always be grateful for how you made the family here in Charlotte stronger with your love. Thank you!
- COME SPEND TIME WITH THE STAFF WOMEN (online of course!): Every Thursday in the month of April, Jennifer and Lavonia will be hosting Women's Fellowship! We will be joined by the other women on staff for some great time of encouragement, laughter, and inspiration. These are some challenging days in many ways and though we hope you are getting girl time in your family groups, the staff women want to make themselves accessible to the sisterhood. Thursdays in April you can (click the link to) ZOOM IN from 8-9AM or ZOOM IN from 7:15-8:15PM. See you then!

- 2020 Vision Conference: The WDS2O2O Planning team continues to evaluate the COVID-19 situation worldwide and locally. Although they have no definitive update regarding the status of the conference, they currently considering several possibilities and have outlined three options for going forward.
