HOPE ANNOUNCEMENT

Second Harvest Food Bank: We need volunteers to serve at the Second Harvest Food Bank on Saturday, February 16th from 9am - 12pm. This project serves two purposes: it helps Second Harvest distribute food to those in need faster and helps us to self-fund the Ashley Park Food Pantry which HOPE Charlotte supports. This activity is for adults and children ages 13 and older. We want to encourage parents to serve with their children.

Volunteers help inspect and sort food or non-food products in the Charlotte warehouse that will get boxed and distributed to their partner agencies. Click here to sign-up: Second Harvest Food Bank

Room at the Inn: December through March historically are some of the coldest months in our region. The demand for shelter for the homeless in our city is stretched. Organizations like the Stratford Richardson YMCA - 1946 West Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28208 stand in the gap and serve the overflow. We have been asked to partner with them for ROOM IN THE INN on Sat Feb 23rd from 4:30PM-6:30PM. We need volunteers to serve and have a meal with the women that they will host on this night. Click here to sign-up: Room in the Inn - Serving Homeless Women
