PRAYER REQUESTS
Veronica Grant, a sister from our Charlotte family who recently moved to Greensboro recently found out she has a rare form of lung cancer. Please keep her in your prayers as they navigate next steps.

Reminder: No food or drinks in the Sanctuary, except water.
Lost and Found: Please check the lost and found located in the stairwell leading to the balcony.Lost and Found items will be kept for one month and then will be donated to Goodwill.

HOLIDAY GIFT CARD PROGRAM
Again this year, we will run our Holiday Gift Card Program. If you would like to donate a Gift Card that will be given to an individual or family in need in the church during the Christmas season, please stop by the HOPE table and sign up to bring or donate a gift card starting Sunday[. These cards can be to places such as Walmart, Target, or grocery stores. Please bring your cards on November 18th, December 2nd and December 9th.

TRANSLATION
Our church services can be translated in Spanish. Translation is in the balcony. Ask for Bernardo or Minerva Caceres to receive a headphone.

YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
MIDDLE SCHOOL
The Middle School Ministry will host our Christmas Lunch on December 9 from 12pm- 3pm in the Gym. The cost is $15 per family. We need every family to provide a drink or dessert. Please RSVP to Samantha Nifong at 704-649-9371 or spnifong@hotmail.com by December 5. Please specify if you will bring a drink or dessert when you RSVP. We also need volunteers to help decorate/set up at 6pm on Saturday, Dec 8 and to serve food/ clean up on Sunday. If you want to volunteer, please contact Samantha Nifong.
TEEN BASH
Teen Bash will be Dec 29th-Jan 1. It is a 4 day retreat with a formal dinner and dance party for New Year's Eve. Cost is $150 which covers food, lodging, and registration. Transportation is not provided. Register at https://thecharlottechurch.org/registration/teenbash. 8th-12th graders are invited. Please consider the maturity of your 8th grader when sending them to this event. It is held at Camp Walter Johnson and there is freedom for the teens to move about the campground without supervision. Deadline to register Dec 6th.

HOPE
Winter Clothing Drive: Please help the HOPE Scouts as they collect Coats, Hats, Scarves, Gloves and Socks. Please bring your clothing to the HOPE table on Sunday December 16th. Suggested donations: New or gently used clean Coats, Hats, Scarves, Gloves and Socks. These items will be given to Crisis Assistance Ministries to help stock their Free Store this winter. The Free Store offers donated clothing, shoes, books and household items at no charge to individuals and families in need.

Please note that while giving by credit card is an option, the fees the church pays are lower for bank account transfers (ACH). The Charlotte Church has set a goal of collecting $125,000 for missions in 2018. The first $75,000 collected will be used for support of the church planting in Boone, North Carolina. The next $50,000 collected will be used in support of African missions. Any additional funds collected over $125,000 will be used for domestic and/or foreign missions as determined by the evangelists, elders and Board of Directors of the Charlotte Church.
