KABLAAM
Saturday, September 8, 2018 - It is that time of year for the Middle School Ministry to enjoy Kablaam in Raleigh, NC. The kids always enjoy this field trip and building friendships with other youth around the South East. Registration is thru August 21, 2018. http://www.kablaam.net/

TRANSLATION
Our church services can be translated in Spanish. Translation is in the balcony. Ask for Bernardo or Minerva Caceres to receive a headphone.
NEHEMIAH GROUP FACILITY UPDATE
As of August 7, the interior painting on the second floor of the building is complete, and the painting in the sanctuary is approximately 75% complete. Painting on the first floor and Kids Kingdom classrooms has been delayed, but should begin next week on or about Monday, August 13.
The first phase of shrubbery and tree removal/trimming has been completed on the church grounds. The second phase of trimming will commence after sufficient regrowth has occurred.

WOMEN'S DAY: ENOUGH
WOMEN'S DAY CANVASSING
Saturday, September 22, 2018, we will be canvassing the Ashley Road neighborhood to reach out to the women in our church community and invite them to our upcoming Women's Day October 13th. Anyone who is interested helping out, please contact Cheryl Mimy via email at mimy2@live.com to sign up. We are looking for as many volunteers so we can canvas the community. This canvass event is open to men, campus, and teens as well. Meeting location: Church Building, Time: 1-3pm
-AUDITIONS
Auditions and help for our upcoming Women's Day in October will be held in the music room at the church on August 18 from 10am-12. Needed are women of every shape, age and ethnicity. 4-5 strong singers as well as singers who move well (you don't need to be a great dancer). I need Women who don't sing or dance but would like to be a part of one of the numbers.
- A stage manager, responsible person to oversee rehearsals and coordinate communications among various coordinating teams.
- Women to help with props and costumes.
- A photographer as well as someone who can format and transfer photos from camera to projector screen.
Only those auditioning for singing roles need to audition on the 18th.

The Faith Health Ministry presents "PINK Sunday"

SCHOOL TOOLS
The annual School Tools Drive has started and will continue through August 26th. We will be collecting school supplies for all ages. All supplies will be donated to children in the church that need supplies and Classroom Central which benefits children throughout the Charlotte area. Help us help students in need get this new school year started off right.

The Charlotte Church has set a goal of collecting $125,000 for missions in 2018. The first $75,000 collected will be used for support of the church planting in Boone, North Carolina. The next $50,000 collected will be used in support of African missions. Any additional funds collected over $125,000 will be used for domestic and/or foreign missions as determined by the evangelists, elders and Board of Directors of the Charlotte Church.
