Saturday, April 20 Pass Over Service
We will be having a Pass Over service on Saturday April 20 from 7:30 - 9:00 at the building. Near the end of service we will be lighting candles. Since we have not done this before please be very mindful of your children. The candles will be lit for only a few minutes, and at the end the ushers will collect them. We look forward to remembering Jesus together on this day.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Please continue to pray for Thomas Hickman,Jr., Ed Hampton's Brother In-law, a Disciple in the NYC church, Harlem Region, as due to medical issues he is unable to use advanced medical procedures for his illness.
"Please pray for the comfort, strength, and wisdom for the James family as they deal with a serious family issue."
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
It is time to sign up for the next teaching rotation for our wonderful Children's ministry! The next rotation is July - December and will consist of two teaching teams that teach every other month. HOPEww Charlotte Walk-a-thon
HOPEww Charlotte's walk-a-thon fundraiser will be on Sunday, April 28, at Frank Liske Park. Outdoor church service / Walk-a-thon / Fundraiser / Cookout
Cause: Funds raised will be used to support global and local initiatives to improve the quality of life for those in our community and to continue to elevate the lives of the poor around the world.

Attend this powerful interactive workshop to become a partner in helping people in our community transition out of poverty. See how you can help our neighbors bridge the gaps between the resources they have and the resources they need.
This is what you will learn:
- The causes of poverty.
- The hidden rules of economic class.
- How to identify and build resources that lead to self-sufficiency.
- How to help your city become sustainable (All citizens live well).
- How to communicate effectively about this initiative.
- Strategies we can all utilize to help this become our reality.

MOVING HELP NEEDED
The Fredericks are moving from Mallard Creek Road to Skybrook Easter weekend. If there are those that can contribute a couple or few hours between 1-5pm-Mon, Apr 8th- Sat-Apr-13th, Mon-April 15th-Sat-April 20th, Mon-April 22nd-Sat-Apr 27th, either packing, cleaning, unpacking or hanging out with the girls. That would be very helpful. Please text Bev Wacker at 704-699-0120 and let her know the date and time you can help and she will communicate with the Fredericks.

YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
(TEENS)
Teen Prom 2019: "Kalon: Beauty that's more than skin deep". The Y&F ministry is hosting this year. It will be held at BanquetOne in Charlotte on May 4th at 6:30.
