Barbara Baily: Please pray for Barbara. She is having colon surgery on 09/05/19 to remove a possible tumor. Please pray that the surgery is a success and that she has a full recovery. Barbara is Tonya Krider's mom.

HOPE Announcements for Sunday September 8, 2019
1. Our next Doves Nest project will be on Saturday September 7, 2019 (4 PM-6 PM). We need volunteers to serve and have a meal with the women from Doves Nest. If you would like to serve please contact Jan Pickett @ 704-965-0721, or Mamaj3@pinevilledsl.net
2. Second Harvest Food Bank: We need volunteers to serve at the Second Harvest Food Bank on Saturday, September 21st from 8:45am-12pm. This helps Second Harvest distribute food to those in need faster and helps us to self-fund the Ashley Park Food Pantry. This activity is for adults and children ages 13 and older. Volunteers help inspect and sort items in the Charlotte warehouse that will get boxed and distributed to their partner agencies. Family Devotional Fun Night!
In just 5 weeks, is our Church Family event and it is for ALL DISCIPLES! Families with kids, Teens, Campus, Singles, Empty Nesters.....Everyone!! Oh yeah, and your friends!!! It will be an evening of Faith, Fun & Fellowship and is designed to mix & mingle the younger with the older & help us to break down the age barriers and build unity through relationships.

Care & Compassion Ministry Announcement
The Care & Compassion Ministry would like to invite anyone with a need to meet for a Prayer and Encouragement Time the 2nd Sunday of every month, starting in September. Y&F Southeast Teen Rally: "Rise" 2019
The Southeast churches will have a Teen Rally in Marietta GA, hosted by The Atlanta churches on the weekend of Sept 20-22nd, 2019 . It's a two-day conference themed "Rise" Isaiah 40:30-31 . Guests from out of town will be able to stay with church families in the Atlanta area! Cost is $50. Deadline to register is Sept 6th.
