Update from The Staff
This past Tuesday, the church staff joined the leaders from our sister churches in NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, and TN for a Southeast Staff Meeting. The Columbia church did an amazing job hosting us all. We worshiped together, prayed in small groups confessing our sins then asking the Holy Spirit for direction. We were reminded of the work of Nehemiah and what had not been accomplished for 80 years was then accomplished in 52 days because of unity and submission to God. We tackled questions such as "how to improve our partnerships in our own states, in the region of the SE and then with our worldwide fellowship, and how to share and utilize the resources we each have". We want you to be confident, The Charlotte Church is engaged in fellowship and training from others. Please be praying for God to direct our attention to the items He wants us to address first.
Renita Johnson - Please pray for my brother who is a disciple in New York church, also Ed Hampton brother-in-law, for healing of his lungs. He has been diagnosed with Lung disease and will need a Lung transplant.
Susan Raye - I asked the church to pray about my thyroid cancer. The surgery went beautifully. The margins of the thyroid were clear. No cancer in surrounding structures. Thank you for your prayers.
Reminder: No food or drinks in the Sanctuary, except water.
Lost and Found: Please check the lost and found located in the stairwell leading to the balcony. Lost and Found items will be kept for one month and then will be donated to Goodwill.
February Facilities Update: Planning is underway for Kids Kingdom rooms on the first floor.
The Children's Ministry would like to invite the parents of infant through elementary age children to our parent midweek on Wednesday, February 27th at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The Rayes will be discussing guidelines for a Godly household. There will be childcare and we look forward to seeing you there!
