2018 Contribution Receipts
The contribution receipts/statements for 2018 donations have been generated. There are two ways to obtain your statement: (1) Register for an account on the church website at www.thecharlottechurch.org/Give and obtain your statement online under "Giving History"; or (2) request your statement by emailing churchoffice@thecharlottechurch.org. Remember: If you will be claiming a deduction on your tax return for your donations to the church, you should obtain your receipt prior to filing your taxes. (Note: If you use the online option and do not see your contributions, let us know so that we can connect your login account to your giving profile.)
PRAYER REQUEST
As some may already know, my wife, Heidi Vierkant, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma while also being 23 weeks pregnant. It was diagnosed as stage 2 and she started chemotherapy this past Monday. The medical team has a strong plan in place and everyone is hopeful that mom and baby will get through it.
If the church could be praying for Heidi and the baby, that she can be cured of the cancer, that the baby will not be harmed during the chemotherapy, and that God is with her, our family, and the doctors through this process.
TEEN & MIDDLE SCHOOL WORKERS NEEDED IN YOUTH AND FAMILY' MINISTRY
The Y&F ministry is in desperate need of men and women who are willing to serve in the middle school and teen ministry. We need disciples who have a consistent walk with God, availability to be at midweeks, flexible schedules, and a desire to learn and grow. CHURCH EVENTS
H.O.P.E. Weekend; February 8-10 (Friday - Sunday)! Wade and Debbie Cook from Denver, CO will be coming to spend time with us, the Dames and the HOPE Advisory Board, preach on Sunday and more. Wade is an Elder & Evangelist, and is the Vice President of US Programs for HOPEww, where Debbie serves as the Executive Assistant. Part of the goal is bring great vision and insight into HOPEww and the connection with local HOPE chapters around the country. He'll be bringing great news from around the world, so please come, bring some friends, and be ready to worship together! We'll be sending out more information to the leaders in the coming days.

NEW MEMBER WELCOME
If you are new to the Charlotte Church, please join us on Sunday, February 17th from 12-2 in the fellowship hall for a new member welcome lunch. The staff and elders would like to get to know you. For new families, please bring your kids to join in as well. YOUTH AND FAMILY TEEN MINISTRY
We are excited to host a Valentines Teen Social for our Teen Ministry. Theme: Celebrating Friendship

Location: The Charlotte Church 2200 Ashley Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208 Fellowship Hall
Cost: $10 per family to cover food/decor/prizes, given by Sunday, February 10th; Please only Cash or Money Order
Please RSVP by February 10th 2019 (Our Goal is to create a Time to remember for our Teens)
HOPE ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We will be serving our first meal of 2019 at the Charlotte Rescue Mission on Sat 2-2-19 (4pm-6pm). We are in need of volunteers to serve and have a meal with the men. This project is open to all ministries. Mature children of all ages can serve if accompanied by a parent.
2. Our first blood drive of 2019 will be held on Sat 2-9-19 (8AM-1PM) at 2200 Ashley Rd (Fellowship Hall). We need blood donors and volunteers to man the drive. We will be partnering with the Red Cross.

Please note that while giving by credit card is an option, the fees the church pays are lower for bank account transfers (ACH).
