PRAYER REQUEST
Samantha Nifong's step-mother passed away recently. Please be praying for her father as he grieves and adjusts.
Baby Boy Boothe was born 4:50am New Year's Eve 7lb 5oz 20 inches. Jason, Hannah, Jadon and little man are all doing well. They are still praying over the name and will let you know soon. Please pray for moms recovery post partum.
HOPE ANNOUNCEMENT
MLK Day of Service 2019 - HOPE worldwide and the American Red Cross need 100 volunteers on Saturday, January 19th from 9AM to 2PM. Our theme is Sound the Alarm (Fire Safety and Education Program). We will meet at the church building 2200 Ashley Road and will be canvasing the neighborhoods in that zip code. The project is for all ages. Red Cross Blood Drive - Our next Blood Drive will be Saturday, February 9th, 8:00am to 1:00pm in the fellowship hall. We need blood donors and volunteers. Sign-ups will start January 13th.

MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY
Skating!!
When: January 12th, 5:30-9pm
Where: Kate's Skating Rink, 4114 E. Franklin Blvd, Gastonia, NC
Cost: $10, includes skates, admission, pizza, and drink (price is the same even if you have your own skates)
You will need a permission slip if one is not on file already.
Middle School Parent Workshop/luncheon next Sunday January 13th! Please bring your lunch and meet in the Fellowship Hall by 11:45.
We will have Deric and Glenna Boston from the Triangle Church. They have so much knowledge and experience with the youth within the church and their career.
