The midweek schedule for January will be January 2nd and 16th. These will be congregational.

House Church Contributions
We will no longer be collecting contribution during our house church services. You can, however, give online at https://www.thecharlottechurch.org/Give or make up your contribution on the next congregational Sunday or midweek.

FACILITIES UPDATE
Reminder: No food or drinks in the Sanctuary, except water.
Lost and Found: 
Please check the lost and found located in the stairwell leading to the balcony. Lost and Found items will be kept for one month and then will be donated to Goodwill.
December Facilities Update: Room 310 Reconstruction Complete. 1st and 3rd Floor Restrooms in Progress.

TRANSLATION
Our church services can be translated in Spanish. Translation is in the balcony. Ask for Bernardo or Minerva Caceres to receive a headphone.

CHURCH EVENTS
Going away party for Marquia Verrett. Jan. 5th 6:30-9:30 pm at the fellowship Hall. Light refreshments, games and karaoke. Also, please send encouraging notes and/or photos to ThankyouMarquia.com in order to help us create a memory book for her.

FOR THE MEN
For all men in the church please go to this website https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CQZ85YT to complete a short survey to give us your insights on a men's day we are planning for the first quarter of 2019.

YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
Teens will be going to Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park
Where: 7325 Smith Corners Blvd., Charlotte, NC. About two minutes away from Northlake Mall.
When: Saturday, January 12th, 2019 from 1-3pm
Cost: $10 per person + $3 socks.  The socks have to be Sky Zone socks in order for your teen to jump on the trampoline.
The two waivers the parents need to sign is the Comprehensive Teen Waiver and the Sky Zone Northlake waiver either online or in the trampoline park.

HOPE Worldwide Charlotte Announcements
Dove Nest - Our next Dove's Nest meal will be Saturday, January 5th from 4pm to 6pm. If you would like to participate contact Jan Pickett at mammaj3@pinevilledsl.net (704) 965-0721.
MLK Day of Service 2019 - HOPE worldwide and the American Red Cross need 100 volunteers on Saturday, January 19th from 9AM to 2PM. Our theme is Sound the Alarm (Fire Safety and Education Program). We will meet at the church building 2200 Ashley Road and will be canvasing the neighborhoods in that zip code. The project is for all ages. Red Cross Blood Drive - Our next Blood Drive will be Saturday, February 9th, 8:00am to 1:00pm in the fellowship hall. We need blood donors and volunteers. Sign-ups will start January 6th.

Please note that while giving by credit card is an option, the fees the church pays are lower for bank account transfers (ACH). Missions Contribution Collected for 2018 .........................$111,185.97
The Charlotte Church has set a goal of collecting $125,000 for missions in 2018. The first $75,000 collected will be used for support of the church planting in Boone, North Carolina. The next $50,000 collected will be used in support of African missions. Any additional funds collected over $125,000 will be used for domestic and/or foreign missions as determined by the evangelists, elders and Board of Directors of the Charlotte Church.
